We stayed one night at this facility to break up our trip back to Arizona. The exit was a little confusing, even the GPS was confused. KOA campgrounds are always friendly and efficient. Staff people are always helpful and pleasant. This facility fulfilled those characteristics. It is to their credit that they understand that at the end of the day, we just want to park, set up and relax. The only request we would have is to cut the grass around the sites. We are not traveling with kids most of the time, but KOA definitely caters to those who do. We appreciate that there is a stocked store with more than just snacks and a restaurant for a quick breakfast. The site was almost level with sufficient space between sites. We appreciated the escort to our site. The park was comfortable for walking your pet with areas for those that need to run. We did not see any dogs off leash. We thank the park for enforcing this policy. Our walks are more relaxed and safer because this is enforced. This was the one of the only parks we stayed at this summer that was 100% dogs on leashes or inside the dog park. We commend you and the campers for this.

Great KOA conveniently located just off I-25 right outside of Colorado Springs. Most of the sites are pull through with a gravel park pad and a small grass area with picnic table between each site. The park has a great pool with a water park area and a game room to help keep the kids occupied. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Wifi worked well for us during our stay.
We have a 33' fifth wheel, and have stayed at all sorts of RV parks over the years, including KOAs. I've always found that KOAs are usually quite nice and a little higher priced. This KOA recently raised its rates to $75 after the 10% Good Sam's discount (it was newly bought over) and it wasn't even high season yet! It advertised a cafe, pedal carts, wagon rides, games and other amenities, but unfortunately the park was under construction the 4 days we were there, although it managed to open... Read More

Also Cable TV didn't work even after they inspected the equipment. It would have been a decent thing to offer a price discount since they really weren't ready with all their amenities. If I had to do it over again, I would pick a park in Colorado Springs that was at least $10/night cheaper.

This is a very nice campground with great amenities. When I made the reservation, I requested a site that would accommodate my very large 5th wheel. We have since downsized to a class A. The 5th wheel would have in no way fit in this site. We are in site 173. There is a tree with large branch over the site. A man did nicely cut back some of the small branches that would have scratched our new class A. But, we cannot put out our awning and the tree blocks satellite signal. I was offered a... Read More

I was offered a move, but we were too tired to move. This is why I put my requests in writing and confirm my requests in a phone call prior to our visit. The manager would do well to train his staff to read comments on a reservation before assigning the site. And, if the site is assigned by a computer check to be sure the computer assigned an appropriate site. Would it be to hard to inquire about size of vehicle and satellite needs at check in??? I booked one of this KOA's largest/best sites. Why in the world would they leave a tree with a large branch over the site. Most people who book this type of site are in large vehicles. Last night there were high winds and small branches kept hitting our roof vents. The vehicle I previously had when I made the reservation was a foot higher...NO way it would have fit. My suggestions to management would be 1. Cut the limb that hangs over this site and 2. Ask at check in if camper would like a satellite friendly site and 3. Read comments in the reservation request. Very disappointed!! That being said, it is a very clean and well kept campground with many amenities that families with children would really enjoy. The traffic sounds from the highway are a bit too loud and the internet is inconsistent.

Staff went out of their way to accommodate our travel schedule. The only reason I didn't rate the overall as a 5 is the train whistle. Not the RV parks problem, but it was a little annoying particularly at 4:30am. Otherwise the park was an excellent experience. I used the laundry facility and it was clean and the machines did a great job, plus the price of doing laundry was very acceptable. We will definitely stay here again.
This is a very nice campground. We enjoyed our three night stay. The dog park is nice but it is all stones (my dogs like grass). Make sure you have a very long cable cord if you plan to hook up to cable tv because the hook-up is at the front of each site. The pool is nice and they are planning a splash park which will be a very nice addition. The Internet is horrible! We would stay here again because the workers are so nice and helpful.
This is a huge park, and it was packed when we were there. The roads and the sites are gravel. It had just stormed when we arrived, and there was lots of water everywhere. The staff were friendly enough, but they were very busy, and it did not feel very personal. There were some cabins, and covered tent sites. The showerhouse was acceptable. It could be a good base to visit Colorado Springs. We only stayed one night.
