This is a family owned park run by some very nice people. Security is great, with gates to prevent people from entering or exiting the campground without a pass. Wifi is terrific, some of the best I have ever encountered. In addition this park has the best water pressure I've ever seen in an RV park. We arrived in a 37' class A diesel. We scraped the skids coming up the driveway. I'm not certain we would have made it in with a longer rig. The highway leading into the campground showed multiple... Read More

Wifi is terrific, some of the best I have ever encountered. In addition this park has the best water pressure I've ever seen in an RV park. We arrived in a 37' class A diesel. We scraped the skids coming up the driveway. I'm not certain we would have made it in with a longer rig. The highway leading into the campground showed multiple gouges dug into the asphalt. Our space was adequate in length and width, but the road leading to the space was very narrow and we had difficulty backing into our space. There were rocks along the edge of road that were not visible underneath the brush, which caused us some difficulty while backing in.
We were next to a monthly camper whose campsite was digusting. There were both empty and full liquor bottles and beer cans scattered about. At one point the folks at this site lit a fire in the fire ring and then left. We reported this to the office and the campers next to us did make some effort at cleaning up the mess. However after that, we didn't see them anymore?
We used our site as a base of operations and did not avail ourselves of any of the campground amenities. Based on the difficulty of getting our rig into and out of the campground, we would not return. With a smaller rig or a 5th wheel or tow behind, it might not be a problem.

The Campground is in a beautiful location in the hills of Connecticut. That being said, the campground is in dire need of clean-up and refurbishment. Further, although the bath-house/restrooms were very clean, they were not handicap/mobility impaired friendly. No grab rails or bars in at least one commode or shower stall. Many of the sites were crumbling and overgrown and we were charged $2.50 a day for electricity when we were checking out, on top of $48.00 a day for a site that only provided... Read More

The Pump out station is located at an upper level of the campground, making it difficult to navigate with a tow-behind. If you plan an extended stay, bring your own black water hauler, or plan to hook up and tow your unit to the pump-out station, if you fill your tank. This campground was probably a wonderful family campground at one time, but sorely needs cleaning up and refurbishment. In our opinion, does not rate the high marks it's received from the Good Sam Club.

Yes nice wooded site BUT it's expensive at $48. A night plus $2.50 ea day for electric plus .25 cents to to use bath house showers- yes you must pay to use Water & shower. Also no sewer/black water so you have to Do pump out. Roads are narrow & in poor repair. Site was uneven broken asphalt & rocks.
