This campground has tent and RV sites as well as camper rentals. The RV sites were rebuilt in 2019 and are now packed stone, level sites with 50/30/20 amp/sewer/water with some sites for big rigs being 60' long x 30' wide. Parkwide fiber optic WiFi is just about completed. We had site F20. It's a back in site that backs up to the woods. When there is a slight breeze, you can hear the ocean roaring. We were visited by squirrel, chipmunks, turkeys, fox, and the bird watching is incredible! This campground... Read More

We were visited by squirrel, chipmunks, turkeys, fox, and the bird watching is incredible! This campground is located in the West end of Provincetown. The bathrooms are clean with good water pressure. The staff are friendly and welcoming and have the best recommendations for fun, food and entertainment. There is a lot to see and do in this little Town! It's only a short 10 minute walk to downtown which has the most amazing restaurants with the freshest seafood, pubs, shows, theatre productions, art galleries, eclectic shopping, beaches and the list goes on and on. Use Coastal Acres as your 'no frills' base camp and explore the beaches, take a Whale Watch or Dune tour. This campground does not take Good Sam but offers a 10% discount for any 7 night or longer stay. LGBTQ friendly. We will certainly stay again!

This is the first time that I have felt compelled to write a review but the woman who seemed to be the main staff person at the front desk was one of the nastiest people in a customer service role I have ever encountered. She was mean from the first minute we began registering and right through the encounters we had with her during the weekend. We have never had an experience like this in all the RV parks in which we have stayed. The facilities, bathrooms and overall condition of this campground... Read More
This is the first time that I have felt compelled to write a review but the woman who seemed to be the main staff person at the front desk was one of the nastiest people in a customer service role I have ever encountered. She was mean from the first minute we began registering and right through the encounters we had with her during the weekend. We have never had an experience like this in all the RV parks in which we have stayed. The facilities, bathrooms and overall condition of this campground are primitive and not well cared for. The bathroom showers which they charge a quarter to use, were almost all broken and most shut off well before the five minute time limit. The only redeeming quality of this campground is that it is walking distance to Commercial Street in Provincetown, which is why I gave it an overall rating of 3 stars. I would not stay here again because this woman was a huge turnoff and should not be working in customer service. Other guests had the same experience and we spent the weekend commiserating with our very nice neighbors and enjoyed their company which salvaged the overall stay.
