On the 24th until the 26th of June we stayed at PA Dutch Country Resort. I found it on Passport Americas app. It clearly listed your park as a Passport park with a fee of $26+- a night. When I called for reservations the message said make reservations on line. So I logged on and found out you are now a Thousand Trails Park. Imagine my surprise when I saw you charged me for the FULL price of over $200+- for the three days. When I checked in and complained the gate staff said there was nothing that they could do. Then I found out after we set up that the pool was closed, the laundry was closed, the rec center was closed, and there was no free WIFI, no cable, and spotty local TV.
I feel that I was ripped off for the full fee, instead of the Passport rate, especially after seeing that most of the parks amenities were either closed or not offered. I would like a credit to my credit card for the difference between your going rate and the Passport America fee listed in national directories. As a Life Member of Good Sam, past chapter president, and a 50, state traveler, I am well aware of pricing of RV parks. With the closed amenities, and lack of services, your rates are high, and not allowing for an advertised Passport America fee, is just not right.
