We stay at Crazy Horse for 2 months in the winters. The staff here is very kind and helpful. Amy and Ben put on a lovely Valentines spaghetti dinner for 100 guests. The room was decorated with danglers and red linen tablecloths, plus a DJ. They offer free donuts twice a week. You can pay a small fee for breakfast, Tacos and pizza on certain days… Love the pool as well.
We stayed at the Crazy Horse RV park for a week in early January. It was very clean and staff were super nice and friendly. Close to the Saguaro Natl Parks and a quick drive to Tombstomb and other places. Their WIFI works really well which isn't the case in many RV campgrounds. They have a few lemon, orange and grapefruit trees which guests and can pick from at any time. We will definitely stay here whenever we are in the area.
Stayed 2 nights so that we could view Saguaro National Park. Perfect place to see both East and West sides of the park. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Sites were a little tight for our 38ft. motorhome but no issues getting in or out. Weather was hot but didn't use the clean looking pool. The covered sites would be worth the extra money when temps are in the upper 80's.
We were here for a quick overnight stay. Pleasantly surprised by nice facility. Chef Ben and Amy did a great job for Taco Tuesday. I would stay here again.
Staff is very helpful. Park is clean and well-maintained, including grounds, office and restrooms/showers. Owner reimbursed me for a dead surge protector after a wiring fault killed it. The only downside for me was Verizon LTE service is nearly nonexistent at this location. Great park and highly recommended.
Super Friendly and helpful staff went above and beyond. When we arrived friendly helped us park and set up. Quiet and nice clean spots, easy to get in and out of. Close enough to everything we needed to do while still feeling like you are not stuck in the middle of town. Would stay again in an instant. Prices very reasonable for all that you get. Always have activities and things to do.
Bathrooms were dirty , staff unfriendly, noisy, to much traffic ,dirt everywhere, recommend another RV park
This is an older park. The spots are small and hard to get into if your travel trailer is over 29 feet. They said pull thru but we ended up backing in, They were working on upgrading the electrical while we stayed the week, didn't bother us they well informed us of the times it would be off. The internet was not always working, response time not good. This needs updated . The staff was very friendly and helpful, the activities were very nice and they made everyone feel very at home. Easy to find odd the highway, just wish the sites were larger and internet better.

the sites are really narrow, I had a bush at the drivers door and a bush on the drivers side. had to walk in next site to get to the back to hook up. with the slides open the was no room. web site was good, office staff was good. sites just too narrow.
GREAT park?? Only weak thing was wi-fi & that is getting better! We can hardly wait for our next stay there. THANKS again to a great staff!
We arrived mid day to check in. No one was available. Drove through the area and it was VERY OLD. Sites are on top of each other. Old mobile homes and rv's throughout. Area next to a truck stop parking area. Would wonder about truck noise and smell. Called to cancel and no one answered so left a message that took them over 4 hours to call back. Stay at your own risk.
After being assigned and led to my RV site, I was disappointed that it was only 18 feet wide, so narrow that I could not extend the awning, nor avoid hearing and seeing everything going on at neighbors on both sides. The park is mostly gravel, roadways are narrow, and dump facilities were unable to connect with at my initial site, having been installed something in the 1930's. There was no picnic table, no fire pit, and the narrowness and location of my site was such that the half-sized picnic tables... Read More

There was no picnic table, no fire pit, and the narrowness and location of my site was such that the half-sized picnic tables that WERE sprinkled throughout the park (about half the sites didn't have a table at all) would not have been enjoyable or comfortable to sit at anyway.
The pool was small, never saw anyone using it, and I did not go into the showers or Laundromat. The view wasn't impressive, with a Truck stop on one side, bare desert on the other.
The staff was helpful in moving me to a wider site, and this one did have dump facilities which my equipment easily connected with. Staff also helped move a picnic table from one site to my own, It was scenic from the standpoint that there were mountains on both sides of the park, and being near a military base, the sounds of jets flying overhead was enough to make me think the largest earth movers on the planet had converged on or next to the RV park.
I wanted to leave early, but the cancellation policy requires 72 hours notice to do so. I left anyway.

Stayed here because it was one of the cheapest we could find at the time. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff and park visitors. Plenty of opportunities to socialize. Special dinners, Saturday breakfasts, donuts on Wednesday morning, free coffee every morning, BINGO, movies, etc. There were a few very trashy permanent residents and some water and elec. issues, but nothing serious. This park was nothing special. It was clean and we paid $29.25. OK nothing more.
The ratings on this place are probably optimistic You first understand when the jets take off from the Air Force base just to the north. The you get the Air NAtional Guard to the west , and finally the trains that are close by. Good News - is that it mostly dirt so you do not have the heat from the pavement. Made a reservation on Monday for Wed. Arrived and found note on the door - will be back soon. OK they need to take care of stuff. Then I hear the TV on - checked the door it is... Read More

Made a reservation on Monday for Wed. Arrived and found note on the door - will be back soon. OK they need to take care of stuff. Then I hear the TV on - checked the door it is locked. Waited for the man to come back - Turns out there were two women inside watching TV. Started to check in -- Could not find a reservation. Talked to the lady who took my reservation - She could not remember any reservation. Eventually got settled when the jets took off.
Do not expect much.

if you are looking for a clean, safe park for a couple days or a couple of months, without all the extra stuff and expense, this is the place. Awesome people at the front desk, very clean bathrooms and laundry room. Crystal clear pool with a club house/rec room. Stable power, WI-fi, and cable included. This is an easy off/on park just outside of Tucson without all the hype and expense. If you don't care about a gym, food or bar on-site, then here is the hidden gem of Tucson RV campgrounds.... The appeal of the place is that it is rustic without being barren. At first glance, not much to look at, gravel spots but paved roads, a few trees around, and very friendly full-time patrons. The only park I stay at in Tucson.
