This is our third year at this park and when we first started coming here we thought it was great. We love that is remote and very quiet and not too large. The lots are a very generous size. But this year we are disappointed with a few things. The washrooms which were renovated last year and are lovely are very seldom cleaned and replenished . You have to ask a few times before you get a receipt since they just can't do it right at that moment. We talked to a couple who on Monday March 18 called and asked to reserve a site for that weekend and were told that they were booked right up. The couple didn't think that was possible so they drove in on the following Friday and found many empty sites. We also heard other stories that we a little concerning. We have decided not to return next season especially since we found out that they are planning to build a casino and hotel complex right next door. So much for the piece and quiet.

The house cleaner did everything from making our reservations, welcoming us, cleaning the cabin, answering all our questions, recommending places to visit or things to do, and making sure we didn't need anything else. What a very pleasant person and such a clean and nice place to stay.
Great place to camp. The design of the campground is fabulous. The friendly staff make you feel welcome. Can't wait to go back.
This is by far one of the nicest RV parks. The sites are quite spacious and newly renovated. The staff was very courteous, helpful and professional. There is also a convenience store and fuel station right there and a few miles away is the casino. I would definitely stay there again !!
Review of Seminole Brighton RV Resort and Casino We had a difficult time getting internet information and reviews on the Seminole Tribe's Brighton RV Resort. Review of Seminole Brighton RV Resort and Casino
We had a difficult time getting internet information and reviews on the Seminole Tribe's Brighton RV Resort. Even Siri on my navigator's iPhone took a long time to sort out our requests and come up with directions to this RV resort on the west side of Lake Okeechobee. There were no camper's reviews of the Brighton RV Resort and two negative reviews on their casino facility. When I drove my 36 foot Georgetown past the welcoming "Trading Post" store, gas station and registration office complex, we really did not know what to expect. We saw a spacious, well designed and modern RV park with long paved parking spaces separated by green well-cut landscaping. The attendant was out of office until 1:00 pm, so we drove in and picked a spot that fronted a long, lily-pad covered lake. I was surprised by the length of each concrete pad. No drive through or mandatory back-in pads for big rigs, just turn into your spot and pull forward until the motorhome and tow car are both clear of the street. When stopped I had a convenient and modern hookup for the water hose, dump tube and 50 Amp power cable, along with that parking space on the pad for my tow car. When we returned from the casino, our neighbor and family stood by the waters' edge fishing for peacock bass, catfish, gar and whatever. Wish I had brought my rod and tackle box. The resort's Good Sam daily fee for my motorhome was $35.00 and that was on the 2016 New Year's Day weekend. That was the most reasonable rate during our mini-vacation trip around Central Florida. The park does not have a public wireless internet access like the network available at their casino. That was a problem for anyone with an AT&T smart-phone. The area has no AT&T service bars, therefore, no 4G or Hotspot service to make calls and access the internet. We are coming back in April to use the Seminole Brighton RV Resort as a home base for exploring the Lake Okeechobee area. Hope the park has a wireless network up and running when we arrive.
Next a word about the Seminole Brighton casino. We have visited casino facilities throughout the USA and several Canadian provinces, so with two negative reviews we expected this casino to be a small, lightly attended slot and poker facility. Wrong. The casino has a medium size floor of modern slot machines and a separate poker room with a roulette machine. On the New Year's Day weekend we had to park in an overflow lot and ride the shuttle to a casino packed with players. The facility was well-run and very hospitable. Their snack concession and restaurant facilities were rather ordinary, so we chose to prepare and eat dinner back at our motorhome. But the gaming floor was not ordinary. It was well laid out with a very good selection of electronic game type machines and penny slot machine pricing for penny pinchers like us and those who want to gamble a hundred pennies with each play. Both of us had an entertaining time and will return in 2016 to again play the slots at the Seminole Tribe's Brighton Casino.
