I will warn you now, don't make a reservation here and cancel your reservation if you have one already. When I was a young man and tent camped pretty much anywhere I could find a spot to set up a tent, everyone of those rough hewn sites were better that any of the "first available" sites at this place. Yes that's right, they don't provide you a site at check-in, they provide no help in reading the map and don't make any recommendations where a good site might be, so be ready to drive around endlessly... Yes that's right, they don't provide you a site at check-in, they provide no help in reading the map and don't make any recommendations where a good site might be, so be ready to drive around endlessly trying to find a spot. The place is a maze of poorly marked narrow pot holed alleyways. You will get lost and any site that looks reasonable, is going to be taken. Apparently many folks live in this place and have taken all the better sites. Most equipment, faucets, electric boxes and sewer hook ups if you can find one, in the sites is going to be broken, that's most likely why the site is open. You pretty much have to take a tent site even if you paid for a full site. In your futile search for a site you will drive by one of the dump stations and be ready roll up all your windows ASAP because the smell from the overflowed drainage field will make you cringe. While you are lost in the maze, I would highly recommend holding your bladder because the bathrooms are horrendously disgusting.
Final Recommendation, DON'T GO HERE!!!

I will start by saying this is a very beautiful campground and I will definitally return. Very steep roads, some tight turns. Most sites have water and electricity, only about a quarter or less of the sites have sewer hookups. Large indoor swimming pool, outdoor hot tub, both could be a little warmer. Nice lodge building. You are lucky if you can find any cell service. Wifi at clubhouse only, very slow, almost unusable.
