Great location and campground. They definitely care about the experience and have great service. Highly recommend. Beyond the spacious site and great service, the fishing is a fun addition. They have a stocked pond, and you can catch dinner which they will prepare for you to cook, or fry it up for you. The kids and I all caught fish, and had it fried up for dinner. We took it to go, and made our own sides at a site. We played horseshoes and used the pool too. If we are back in the Black... Read More

What can I say but WOW... We had a site that was by a nice sized stream that was so very relaxing (we even stayed an extra day). Staff was exceptional and super friendly as were the owners. The park was very clean and you were escorted to your site and even helped back you in. The bathrooms were clean as were the showers. Our neighbors were all very friendly in fact shortly after we set up A nice gentleman and his grandson pulled int the site next to us and happened to be our neighbors from the... Read More

We loved this campground. It was crowded and the sites are pretty close together, but the atmosphere was so friendly. We had a back in site on the creek and it was perfect. We made friends with all our neighbors and sat outside for hours talking and enjoying the weather. The guest were all respectful of others and the park was quite peaceful. We did not use the showers or restrooms, but they did appear clean. The laundry was well kept, the dryers did not dry my towels in one turn so I had to feed... Read More

The biggest drawback of the laundry would be the arcade games are in the same room. And no, did not have issues with kids playing the games...just my husband! The campground cafe served excellent food and the prices were fair. The breakfasts were really economical, cheaper to let them cook for you. Loved this park and we would stay there again if we find ourselves back in Deadwood. Actually like this area better than Keystone.

This was our first stay at a formal campground. My friends made the reservations for their Class A and my travel trailer toy hauler. We were able to get sites next to each other. The service on the phone and on-site was terrific. The entire grounds were clean and well organized. An absolutely great experience. We rode the trails directly from camp and then drove into Deadwood for a little gambling fun & the big car show. Up the trail / road a few 100 feet is a very nice and well stocked... Read More

Up the trail / road a few 100 feet is a very nice and well stocked gas / convenience station. Cell service is spotty (mountains/hills), but wifi is solid at the office / store / bar / cafe / duck pond. Can't think of a thing to fault it for. Highly recommended by this (not normally) happy camper.
