Park has recently gotten new owners. They have done some updates, but it is an average park. We were next to the road which was VERY busy and loud. We were, however, directly across the street from Silver Springs State Park, which was the reason we were here, so that was great. We could walk there.
Location: Immediately across from Silver Springs SP. Could easily walk to park. Walmart <1 mile. Street: busy local road, but sidewalks generally on both sides of street, also used for bicycles Neighborhood: Tired section of town. Many older motels, needing destruction or remodel. **************** This is an older park, circa 1960, generally ocuppied by long-termers, with a few transient spots. Nothing fancy, but pretty well maintained. Bathrooms were older, but clean. Showers private and good-sized.... Read More

This is an older park, circa 1960, generally ocuppied by long-termers, with a few transient spots. Nothing fancy, but pretty well maintained. Bathrooms were older, but clean. Showers private and good-sized. Of note, this bathroom is heated in winter months (a first for me). Our class B fit comfortably with all hookups, under a pin oak tree with spanish moss. Picturesque, but lots of birds required a good wash after 3 days. Friendly staff, fair price.
Good place to spend a couple of days while visiting a good state park.

Very much a long-term stay park. Not overly appealing, but ok for an overnight stay.
