One of our favorite rv parks. We were given a site on the lower area and although I was dissapointed at first because the upper area is closer to the dunes, we were super happy once we saw the difference of the washrooms in both areas. The lower washroom has been redone and it is the nicest washroom and showers anywhere. It looked like a spa and was very clean. That said the upper facility is tiny, old, and quite dated. Loved our stay and watching the sun set into the ocean from the dunes is pure magic. Make this a must stop if you pass through.

The location and the sites were ok. Sand and crushed rock for the pads made it messy, and the amenities are pretty poor or non-existent. All of this would have been a 4 star for me, but the staff and the permanent residents don't care about the rest of the paying customers. One permanent resident was riding his no muffler Harley around the campground at 4 am, two nights in a row. When we complained about it, the staff basically said, we don't care, and told me to get over it. Other permanent residents were living in total wrecks that looked like they should be condemned. Also apparently they have a theft problem as well. DO NOT STAY HERE. There are plenty of other nice places to stay in the area.

Only been here 3 nights on the top level and have 6 more nights to go. Spaces are called "deluxe" but you are jammed in between other RV's and Trailers. Very tight. Little privacy. Roads between the RV's are narrow and vehicles travel too fast...speed is not enforced. Security - none. Anyone can drive in. Bathroom/showers:- 1 room shares a shower with a curtain to close behind you and 3 bathroom stalls. The entrance door, if slammed, closes but no lock. Anyone could walk in...very unsafe.when you... This is unfortunate to see so many people living in the facility. I like full time RV'ers but most of these are pemanent. The good spots are taken by these and it is hard to level your rig on what is left to park in,
