This is another RV Park trying to cash in by using the word "Resort" in their name. Do not be fooled by this. Read on... Arrived on 11/23. Had our site moved due to utility damage to our original assigned site. No problem. Parked, got set up, no issues there. Things went sour on 11/24 when a large 5th wheel arrived, and was put in the adjacent space. According to the owner of the 5th wheel, he was told to park where he did, which left our campers 6 feet apart, with the doors of each facing each... Read More

Things went sour on 11/24 when a large 5th wheel arrived, and was put in the adjacent space. According to the owner of the 5th wheel, he was told to park where he did, which left our campers 6 feet apart, with the doors of each facing each other. I questioned the staff about this, and while they did acknowledge it was not an ideal situation, they did nothing to fix it either. This is another older park trying to squeeze campers into spots too small to accomodate them. The center of the park has pull thru sites, which they charge more for than the perimeter back in spots, but the perimeter spots have a concrete patio, and picnic tables, neither of which are present st the pull thrus, yet the pull thrus are more expensive. Still trying to rationalize that...add to that most of the perimeter sites are occupied by permanent, or long term residents.
The bathrooms were nice enough, but the womens shower was moldy on our visit. The dog park was ok, small, but ok. Why do most dog parks use the shortest fencing available? Pretty useless if you want your larger dog to be able to explore a bit.
The location of the park is the best feature, it is only 2 blocks to the downtown attraction area. If I had it to do all over again, I would stay elsewhere, and drive a bit to get to downtown. We camped at Stampede RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here in March- we had originally wanted to stay 2 weeks. We made our Reservation on March 3 supposed to arrive on the 8, I called on 4th spoke with the owner- told her our plans had changed that we could only stay a week due to having to get repairs on our rig. She told me that would be fine she would refund my money (which BTW was already charged for our 2 week stay) WE STILL HAVE NOT BEEN CREDITED this amount. We arrived in our 40 ft Motorhome- there was no way we were going to fit... Read More

We arrived in our 40 ft Motorhome- there was no way we were going to fit in the regular park so she put us into over flow park. ( across the street) We had to hook up to a pole that we find hard to believe are up to code, never had cable or WIFI. ( as promised) There were run down trailers the lot were staying. It was a dump. We left after two days. We were willing to eat the cost of the rest of our week since we had already checked in but I called her after we left and never received a return phone call about our original refund. So we basically paid $440.00 2 days for this run down campground that really should be demolished!
