This is not a resort anymore. Stayed in prior years, and the campground is in need of serious upgrades. Bathrooms need attention Fire ant mounds abound most sites. Lack of trees for shade, lack of grass, roads in bad conditions. No events to pull campers together which you would expect for a resort. We stayed for 9 nights on this reservation. There are no street lights that work to light even walking your dog in the evening. Not sure why some of the full timers stay there with all their stuff.... Read More

We have stayed at this RV Resort for a couple years. This is no longer what I would call a resort. It is just another campground. The sites have cargo trailers, dollies, large dog pens, and clothes hanging out. One site had a 24ft pontoon boat and another had a motorhome parked on the site next to a fifth wheel. Too bad we enjoyed coming here.

This is a clean and well cared for facility. The grounds are grass and paved sites but a lack of shrubbery gives a feel of field camping. There are pools and tennis courts bathrooms and laundry building.

Nothing "magical" about Lake Magic! First of all, we made a reservation 3 mos ahead for 4 days during the Christmas season. We reserved 2 sites, NEXT to each other, with full hook up. When I called several days prior to our arrival, the woman at the desk said 1 site was near the entrance and the other was clear across the RV park! She said she'd try to get us closer but, in the end, we were still 4 sites apart and my mother is in a wheel chair! So much for camping "together". And it was a decent... Read More

She said she'd try to get us closer but, in the end, we were still 4 sites apart and my mother is in a wheel chair! So much for camping "together". And it was a decent walk to the nearest bath house and WAY far away from the laundry facilities. Secondly, you can hardly call this an RV "resort"; more like a walmart parking lot! There are possibly a dozen trees on the entire property so it's like camping in the Sahara even during the holidays! And most of the parking pads are composed of giant white rock that isn't the least bit smooth, making leveling your trailer a nightmare! The few with concrete pads and trees are, of course, extra and slim pickings. The pool is very cold and no one there is under the age of 65. The only place for garbage collection is outside the main entrance. The bath houses have dirty grout, hair in the drains and uncollected trash in the waste basket. Within 15 minutes, we decided this was not the place promised us on the website (or even on the glossy brochure handed us at checkin) so we requested a refund for, what we feel like, is false advertisement. After speaking with the front desk, we were told no refunds are ever issued and the best she could do is offer a voucher for a future Encore RV site stay. So moving forward, I guess we'll request a drive through of any future sites we reserve BEFORE any payment is made. They market this as a friendly outdoor/camping experience just 6 miles from Disney. In reality, it's simply a retirement community for snow birds who'd rather not be bothered by the "strangers".
