Difficult to get a full hookup site.For a Thousand Trail Member Park most people come in for 3 weeks leave their camper unattended until the weekend.Since the remainder of sites are seasonal all that you hear 7 days a week our people mowing their own sites..The bathhouse has been down the whole season because people were getting shocks wile showering.The pool seems to be not working because someone who works here overfilled it and drained it by accident,The water smells but they are working on it since April.The activities list is either late or a day off.The activities are not always performed because of staff shortage.The courtesy patrol(security)is non existent once it gets dark,The golf carts are out of control.Children ride their bikes from 6AM till 2 Am not a typo.If you like to party you can join are party people who are warned every Friday and Saturday Evening but nothing is enforced.Our mini golf course has been under construction for 2 years .The perms in the rear of the park seem to have some form of construction 7 days a week.The park overall is pretty nice,The lawns are well kept.The snack bar has posted hours but seldom here.The work force is super friendly and seem to try hard,If you plan on camping here I suggest Monday thru Thursday.Check in is noon even if there is numerous sites open.Everything goes thru corporate the people in the office only assign sites thru Thousand trails reservation system.I have been coming here for over 20 years and it seems we are going downhill.New manager is 28 years old lives 125 miles away some days he commutes to work.A great yes man to your problems ,but no action is taken. Bring your barking and unattended dog management takes no action.Your unattended preschool children are also welcome.And forgot to mention anyone no matter how young can drive your golf cart or motorizes,bike or skateboard.Lat thing be careful of falling trees they are not in the budget this year.

We were greeted nicely on arrival, and given several choices of campsites. The park is clean and seems well cared for, park staff are very visible. Pool is great. Lots of weekend activities for guests. People around us were really nice. Speaking of guests, I have one comment: It's really obvious that they cater to seasonal campers; we are Thousand Trails members, and were treated very well, but this place is PACKED with seasonal campers, which means there are not a lot of full-hookup sites for short-term guests. On high-demand dates, you should probably not be surprised if you can't get a full-hookup site. We checked in on a Sunday afternoon - at most RV parks we've visited, the place will be nearly empty. Not here. We were told there were only about 5 full hookup sites available. (They do have a "honey wagon" that appears to make daily rounds, but I believe it's as much as $10 a day. Wonder if they charge for that if you reserved a full hookup site and one was not available!) It was not a problem, but to me this is an issue for Thousand Trails members. Now for the negative: The water tastes and smells bad, which may explain why so many of those seasonal campers around us had water filters hooked up. I'm sure it's tested and is OK, but the smell and taste of the water are NOT pleasant. I have 2 suggestions for visitors here. First, take a portable dump tank, just in case. Second, have a water filter system. There is $$$ WIFI, seems to have good coverage; didn't pay for it, so I can't evaluate it. Also $$$ cable TV; again, didn't use it. Do NOT expect to pick up OTA TV - there isn't any.
