Camp Riverslanding Pigeon Forge, TN *** We stayed here April 16-21, 2022. Overall we enjoyed our stay. It served has home base while we explored the Great Smoky Mountains, Dollywood and all that Pigeon Forge had to offer. *** Camp staff was friendly, especially the Camp Hosts. There were many of them and were stopped by to check in and offered to assist anytime. One even told us if it was the middle of the night not to hesitate to bang on their door. The kids enjoyed the pool. It was a good size... Read More

Camp staff was friendly, especially the Camp Hosts. There were many of them and were stopped by to check in and offered to assist anytime. One even told us if it was the middle of the night not to hesitate to bang on their door. The kids enjoyed the pool. It was a good size and included a splash pad. The bathhouse included 6(?) bathroom/shower facilities and laundry facilities. It was up-to-date and clean. The camp store was pretty well stocked.

We originally chose a riverside camp spot (#28). Our RV is a 32 foot Class C. Beyond #19 the camp spots are quite short and drop quickly to the water. The spots are also quite uneven. Our RV just fit into the space and we could got get it level despite having automatic levelers and many Lego blocks. We were told that spot 92 would be open for the duration of our trip. We took that spot and were very happy with it. We determined spots 84-95 were among the most spacious spots not along the river and 7-19 were spacious along the river.

If you're looking for a RV park without a lot of frills then this is the one for you. We were definitely happy with it. We were on Spring Break and kept our kids ( 13, 11, 8 ) busy with stuff outside the campground. They really enjoyed the pool and playground though.

The location of this park is great! The trolly passes through the park. It is located along a creek and we had a site that allowed us to hear the water at night. The pool is large and clean. The waterfront sites are small. The neighbors sewer connection was right next to our picnic table. They were nice and allowed us to put a towel over it so we didn't have to look at it. Also there is a large hotel across the creek so there are about 100 hotel balconies looking out at the waterfront campsites... Read More

Overall the place is clean with very friendly staff and an excellent value considering the location and ammenities.

Loved our stay with the grand kids, this is not a good choice for Big Rigs! I have a 44' Itasca Ellipse and the paved road is very narrow with many pickups parked with the 5th wheels and towables, which is 95 % of the campers. Had a very good neighbor who moved is truck so I could back into my site on arrival. Needed to leave on Saturday morning, but had to wait for some of the campers to awake so I could get their trucks moved out of the road. Otherwise a great place for kids with the pool... Read More

best place I have every stayed at. the staff was real friendly one name bushman was great.
Staff very rude. Manager needs customer service and problem management classes. Spaces are very tight. cars are packed in like sardines trying to get parked. Neighbors sewer hook in our front door along with water and electric. 6 shower bathrooms and 2 regular bathrooms for 117 spaces. If you get a water front site everyone else in the campground walks thru your site to get to the water. Very noisy being so close to the main drag and geese poop everywhere.
We have staye here many times in the past. Since our last trip they have redone bath house and pool area. However in doing so they reduce the number of bathrooms. This is a issue when the campground is full. By night fall bathroom are dirty, toilet overflowing, just a real mess. This was brought up to the new management and them seemed unwilling to address the issue. Sure not the same family friendly place we visited in the past. Despite all the improvements, the bath house situation will make... Read More

We will only stay at this campground when visiting this area. We stay anywhere from 1-5 times per year. The staff is awesome and since they updated the grounds its even better! The bath house is amazing along with the pool and kids play area. Very convenient to shopping, Dollywood and Gatlinburg.
have stayed here for the last four years and love it. the staff are very helpful and always have a smile and time to help you even if it is not a camp ground problem like having trouble with you rv. the site are keep in good shape, the rest rooms are a little outdated but are keep in very good condition. it is close to all the activities , yet far enough away that you are not bothered with all the traffic. has easy access to main road. have a nice pool but we go in oct. so we don't use the pool,... Visited during the week of 11 Nov 15 in time for Veteran's Day. Well kept area and friendly management. Most spots have concrete stands. WIFI was weak and sketchy. Will consider this place the next time we visit Pigeon Forge.
Clean park but not quiet because of go cart track across the creek. Restrooms need up dating. Water pressure was not good. No concrete pad just gravel. Park was kept clean and the creek is beautiful. Staff was very helpful and nice. Location is very nice and just a short drive to Gatlinburg.
We enjoyed our stay at Riverslanding RV Park. It's a great location, with easy access to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and GSMNP. It's location keeps you close to the main drag, but far enough off that it's not bothersome. The restrooms/bathhouse were very clean and well functioning. The staff were very nice and helpful. The only two negatives we found were .... 1) Their WiFi didn't work very well throughout the campground. The staff was aware they were having some issues and were looking into... Read More

The only two negatives we found were ....
1) Their WiFi didn't work very well throughout the campground. The staff was aware they were having some issues and were looking into to making the repairs. It wasn't a deal breaker for us as we played, ran, and shopped the entire time!!!
2) The fire pits are not all easy to sit around. Some of them are placed at an angle that makes standing sometimes difficult. Due to the proximity to the river, the sites against the water have fire pits that are not the easiest to enjoy. I'm sure the staff can tell you which fire pits are on level ground.
All in all, a very nice place with near perfect location to really enjoy this amazing place!!!
