Austin Lone Star Good Sam Verified Campground

This is the best park! VERY clean and well manicured. Restrooms are spotless and laundry room is cleaned daily and open 24 hours. There are people staying here for an extended amount of time, but I don't blame them! This is a wonderful RV park! I would recommend to anyone. Staff is polite and friendly. Pool is spotless and workout room is very nice with new machines. Gate is a nice addition to security. I would stay here again!

Many improvements since our previous visits. This Park was a pleasure from the time we checked-in. Very friendly, well organized Staff, convenient RV Store and Maintence staff working hard to keep this Park PRESTINE ! The pool sparkled, all landscape was manicured and all pathways clean ! My husband and I have been at the Austin Lone Star RV Resort for 3 months and have had no problems whatsoever! The location is perfect, lots of things all around you, but with that convenience comes traffic and that traffic is a bit noisy, but you get used to it. The people in the office were nice and very accomodating and the people in the park were great. We met some lifelong friends, and can't wait to come back. This is the second time I have stayed at a Sun Resorts RV campground. Not very impressed. They are redoing the road in front of resort and started on redoing the road in the resort. Bathrooms and laundry are clean, no complaints there. The resort has people that live there full time. Can tell the rv's have not moved in a while. Lots of noise at night from that group, drinking and loud talking. No quiet time posted or inforced. The pictures on Good Sam website and the facility website not representative... Read More

Great park. Right in the City. Access was difficult due to the Road construction. The park was nicely laid out hook-up easy. The staff was great with a escort to our site. We stayed 1 night so didn't use the facilities. the pool was heated 82 degrees. Quite park for being right in the City. Would stay here again

This park is exceptional. The sites are lovely with a park-like atmosphere. The amenities are outstanding and include a business office, complete with a printer. The staff was great - couldn't have been a better experience. Wish we could have stayed longer.....

Very nice gated park with level gravel pads and trees giving you a little feeling of separation. Beautiful and plentiful bathrooms. Friendly staff. I could not book my whole trip because of availability issues and she called me right back because they had a cancellation. I could not have been happier. This is very conveniently located in South Austin. A complete surprise that a park this nice is in the city.

This park is much nicer than the price indicates. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and the facilities are well above par. We stayed for an emergency stop on July 4th weekend, and they not only found us a spot, they helped us find a mobile mechanic to get us back on the road. They have an A++ swimming pool, uniformed staff, complimentary coffee, a little shop, propane, full hook-ups, shade, and pull-through sites (and cabins). We feel extremely lucky to have found this park after the emergency... Read More
