This park is awesome. I am not sure why it did not show up when I searched for rv parks in Galveston. Good Sam needs to correct this. We have been staying here off and on for 10 years. The park is owned by the city and when the seaweed was really bad last year, the parks department was out at 6 am cleaning the beach, no other park on the water does this. Great staff, clean facilities and my 40ft 5th wheel fits with no issues. Great place to stay. MG

The office staff was very nice and helpful. The campground was good. Small office, store, and laundry have handicap access. The beach which can be seen from the park over the and dunes, and accessed with two board walks, one handicap accessible. The only negative thing about the campground is the grass is covered with stickers that get on you shoes and get tracked into your carpet. The stickers make it near impossible for your pets.

The facility was great. Nice little store, laundry and receive room. 2 boardwalks to the beach with one a handicap access. The beach which can't be seen from the park but can be heard due to the large sand dunes. Bonus you don't have to cross the street to get to the park. The lower stars are related to 2 things 1) picnic tables are bolted to the concrete pad and can't be moved out of your way AND most importantly 2) The grass is covered with small sticker balls that get on you shoes and are... Nice campground, right on the beach. No roads to cross to access beach. Staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. The campgrounds offer full hook ups. We were very happy with everything at Dellanera RV Park and it will be our place in Galveston camping!
