NEVER AGAIN will we stay at a Thousand Trails park! This was our first trip to an TT park. Made a reservation over the phone and told them we have 38' motorhome - Wasn't any mention of 1) you will have to hunt for a space when you arrive 2) there will not be any sewer sites available, 3) there is no cell service in park 4) wifi is only available at the club houses. We arrived after driving for 4+ hours, and having made a reservation thinking we'd just check in and head to our site - like you do... Read More

We arrived after driving for 4+ hours, and having made a reservation thinking we'd just check in and head to our site - like you do when going to any other camping place. Arrived and given a map and told to drive around until you find a place - What the heck, we're driving a 38' motorhome!! I asked for recommendation of which areas to try as there are a number of loops, with steep hills. Was told you'll just have to drive around and see whats vacant. Was also told don't bother looking for a site with sewer because they are probably all full - Again what the heck. I asked if the sites will fit a 38' motorhome as was told they should - They couldn't even tell me what sites would be big enough!! Sensing my frustration, he pointed to a parking lot and said park there and drive your car around to find something. My response was "I'm not directing this to you, but this is the most mickey mouse set up we've ever come across (and this isn't fair to mickey mouse!) He said tell you what why don't you park in the parking lot, it doesn't have water but does have 30 amp and you can stay there for the night - All this for $52!! (included tax and a resort fee). NEVER AGAIN.

This is not a resort as stated. It is a dirt mess. This is September darn it and they have closed their facilities for the season. The roads are a mess. The only full hookups are for those who buy their space. Trying to navigate their rut strewn roads is horrible. This is a back to nature campground though I would expect the staff to clean sites when guests leave. Wi-Fi at their clubhouses only. Secure gated facility but didn't even check IDENTIFICATION! In town there are two outlet malls.... Read More

This resort is out dated. Tight to navigate, sites not even and worst of all only few sewer hookups that seemed to be taken up by the residents. No internet in park unless you go to the clubhouse and it's not strong. They only allow a certain range for the WIFI so I could not pull it into my coach to work remotely and this was very frustrating. This is the second Thousand trails I stayed with the same issue. RV parks need to get up to date with internet as there are more and more people working... Read More

RV parks need to get up to date with internet as there are more and more people working remotely and traveling. Also the first come first serve is bull!!! No one wants to drive around looking for a spot! Again no sewer sites through out. I will not be renewing this memebership as it is not worth the money.

I was truly disappointed in our stay. The first come, first serve option is a bit to be desired. The staff at the check in station were nice enough, however, not very helpful when it came to letting us know where we could find available spots. We spent a lot of time driving around to try to find a spot. The rv spots are not well kept. They are very not level at all. As a matter of fact, they are the worst I have seen. Overgrown grass, weeds, and even sticker bushes. You do not have enough sewer... Read More

We spent a lot of time driving around to try to find a spot. The rv spots are not well kept. They are very not level at all. As a matter of fact, they are the worst I have seen. Overgrown grass, weeds, and even sticker bushes. You do not have enough sewer sites. To charge everyone the same price and not be able to have all of the amenities, is wrong. We paid a lot of money to stay for 3 nights and for the amount that we paid, we should have had FULL hookups. The sites are also VERY small. We had a tent to set up and had absolutely no place to set it up. Luckily, one of the staff members came by and let us know that our daughter could set up the tent in the grass area in the middle of the loop. The playgrounds were completely ridiculous. We were in C loop and the park nearby has a very small slide and a rock climbing wall. We had our four year old granddaughter with us and she loves to play at parks. She went down the slide twice and was done due to the lack of imagination at the playground. We will definitely not be back and would not recommend to anyone.
