Air Capital RV Park is our 130th stop and we stayed for 7 nights. Had a number of interactions with park staff via email, phone and in person and found them all to be very pleasant, especially Kathy. Checkin was quick and easy. Many of the sites are for longer term residents and for the most part, the rvs were in decent shape and their sites not cluttered as we have seen in other parks. The interior roads are concrete as are the site pads and leveling was not an issue. The park is clean and well-maintained... Read More

The interior roads are concrete as are the site pads and leveling was not an issue. The park is clean and well-maintained (cannot speak to the laundry and bathrooms) and it is always nice to have a green grass spot between you and your neighbor but no trees for shade when hot. Trash pick up is also available. Not many options for dogs – one grass strip along the back for them and not sure you want to walk your dog on the small sidewalk near the busy road (opted for a park in Hayesville). Nothing fancy about the park but is a solid stopover and would stay here again if in the area. Connectivity (2:30 pm): Verizon 627.0 down/26.0 up; T-Mobile 66.2 down/5.46 up; Park WiFi 4.93 down/2.05 up – consistent and adequate for the basics. Plus $21 for electric bill.

This park was very easy to get into and out of. We were traveling through from Minnesota to Arizona and we left the trailer hooked up for a quick get-away in the morning. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restrooms and laundry facilities were perfect.
Very nice, very clean parL. Level concrete pad with easy access to hookups. The staff talked with us a number of times and were extremely friendly. The parks location is excellent, right off the highway and it was easy to head into Wichita Lots of area to walk our dog. The laundry facilities are very good. Not all the amenities of other parks, but it was a good value. Next time we visit Wichita, we will stay here again.
We stayed for 9 nights while visiting friends in the Wichita area. The location makes it very easy to get on the highway/interstate and go in any direction. The check in was quick and easy. Although the sites are a little close the concrete pads are level and make setup easy. Parking space at the campsite is a little limited but doable. The laundry room was very nice and clean. The complete facility is well maintained. The only down side is it is in a bit of a bad neighborhood but we did not encounter... Read More

Also there are several decent eating establishments in the area. Recommend Carlos Okelly's, Hog Wild BarBQ, and Braums (great ice cream). We will go back in the future.

We stayed one night on our way home from Arizona. Campground is clean, we liked the cement pads and the area for walking the dog is nice and grassy. Attendants were kind and helpful. We would stay here again on our way through.
Beautiful RV Park! All concrete roads and sites with lush grass between. FHU's were fine, with cable available and no trees to block satellite reception. WiFi was pretty good. Only downside is the sites are pretty close to each other and when everyone is spread out with slides, there's not much room. Park was full on both nights we were there with mostly transient RV'ers. Just a few miles out of downtown, the park is within walking distance to several restaurants. Be sure to visit the Cowtown... Read More

Be sure to visit the Cowtown Museum, which is a recreation of 1870's Wichita with many cool exhibits and artifacts.

This is the second time staying here last time was 3 years ago, park is the same as last time basic rating is very good only problem was they have not fixed wifi both times no wifi at all.For a park like this one would think they would get a wifi service that works. The park was at 100% capacity for the week you would think they would fix this problem..Other than that would stay again.
Entire surface of the park is concrete with small amounts of grass in between the parking sites. The roads are wide and the pull through is long. There is no shade whatsoever. It is clean and the personnel were friendly and helpful. There are grocery stores and restaurants near to the park. It is easy off/on to interstates 35 and 135 and 235. It is not a "resort" stay, however, we would recommend it and will stay there again.
the sites are indeed paved which is nice, but it was very loud here. Noise from surrounding area, lots of sirens and dogs barking well into the night. We only stayed one night and it was cold out so all the windows were closed and that helped. Not sure I would stay here again
We have stayed at Air Capital before and returned to stay again on this recent trip. The park is very clean, well maintained, and easy to access from I-35 in Wichita. Everyone at the office was friendly and they provide a pilot to take you to your site. Good place and we will stay here again when visiting my son and his family.
Second time here. We like it because of the clean facilities and well-kept grounds. Located near I-35, shopping, and restaurants. The wifi is very weak...and there's no shade.
This is a no-frills park with two very different sections. Avoid spots 61-75. We chose this park because of its high Goodsam ratings and its website materials. Both are misleading. For starters, the pictures on their website are from only the front half of the park. They do NOT show the back half, which is sandwiched next to a commercial building, a motel and parking lots and seems oddly similar to parking in a Walmart parking lot. We were assigned there and were shocked at the difference in... Read More

For starters, the pictures on their website are from only the front half of the park. They do NOT show the back half, which is sandwiched next to a commercial building, a motel and parking lots and seems oddly similar to parking in a Walmart parking lot. We were assigned there and were shocked at the difference in perspective. Our rating reflects our experience in this section of the park.
To make matters worse, we were assigned a site intended for a travel trailer, even though they knew we were in a 44' Motorhome and needed a level site. After multiple tries, we finally were able to get our rig level, but the setup was very poor. When we confronted the person at the front desk she did not understand that the site was inadequate. Finally, we spoke to other staff members (and perhaps the owner) who acknowledged the problem and apologized. They had no other spots available.
To the management's credit, they did attempt to find us another spot, but by that point, we had made other arrangements.
We will not stay here again

Should not advertise WIFI! Does not work! Rating should be lowered.
The park is wonderfully maintained and the hosts are very nice and helpful. Sites are large and level and easy access. All pavement and no trees - very hot. Restrooms were spotless. Can walk to grocery and KMart and BBQ restaurant. Easy access from Interstate. Quiet in spite of location. Wifi not great.
Do not pass this place up if you are anywhere near Wichita. This park is run by people that care, and it shows. The park is clean, the laundry room is clean, nice grass at your spot, and good room between spaces. The owner knew that I was coming, estimated time of arrival, and called while en route to offer his welcome and help should any be needed. We didn't rate the bathroom, because we didn't use it. They also have a storm shelter should bad weather approach. Also, my wife was driving behind... Read More

This was our third stop on a cross country trip, and looking back, this was by far the best place that we stayed.

We stayed here for 2 nights in our fifth wheel The park was clean and well maintained. There was no pool, so our teenage son was not very happy! The restrooms were very clean. The sites were all paved, with no shade trees, and therefore very hot in late June in Kansas! We would stay here again for an overnight stop, but not for an extended time.
Very nice park. Beautiful, large, and very clean showers. Nice dog walking area. Very well located with Kmart and a nice selection of restaurants within a block and a half. No shade...so cooling our motor home once parked was challenging.
Very clean and well maintained. Easy pull through for our Class A. Restroom / Shower rooms are spotless! If I could find one thing for improvement would be the kids play area is very small. We go to Wichita to visit our young grandkids. They enjoy staying in Granny and Grampie's home on wheels, but they got bored with the play area very quickly. Thanks.
