I was highly disappointed with this stay. We stayed here for 2 nights. We arrived late and picked our site. The next morning we pulled our camper to College Station for some service that needed to be completed. We came back to the campground later that day so my daughter could swim and the "sparkling pool" was an algae infested cement pond. There was no contact with anyone who worked at the campground and we did not get our good sam discount. The sign as you pull into the campground says Welcome... Read More

Staff was helpful, BUT, all restrooms and showers were LOCKED CLOSED from evening hour until after 8AM, ?????? WHY
Going downhill, restaurant closed, noisy, mostly 80-90% permanents - paid $70 - not worth it at all
We've stayed at this park several times. mainly because of its convenience to Waco, Texas (where we live). We use it as a "jumping off point" before we take a trip to test out systems when our motor home has been in storage for a while. It is fairly close to I-35, but not a big deal. Sites are level, have full 50/30 amp connections, sewer, and water. We've never used the pool but it is obviously nice and well kept up. We've not tried the restrooms so no rating on them.
Very easy check in, very friendly staff in the office, was taken to my spot by a knowledgeable person who filled us in with all the park information. Spot was level and all hookups were easily accessible. Outstanding free breakfast each morning. Close to all of Waco's attractions. Outstanding park.
Great staff but that cannot make up for tight spaces, no shade at least at our site, and noise from the interstate.
We stayed here in our 41' 5th Wheel. The check in was easy and the people here were very friendly. We only stayed one night and went into Waco. The campground was clean, we didn't use the facilities but made good use of the dog area they have, very nice. We would stay here again when we pass through Waco.
I have no children, so this is tough to rate Appeal. Lacks entertainment for children. Great place to serve as base camp for stay and touring of Waco area. We stayed 3 nites, Now for the champagne of the appeal. Free and excellent to order breakfast. I thoroughly enjoyed this as I didn't have to cook one meal between eating breakfast and touring. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Yes even the "ole Bubblehead". So if you are an ex Sub Sailor, he will love to chat with ya.
While the staff were very nice and accommodating, unless you enjoy sleeping on the freeway, buyer beware. I suppose the name of the RV park (1-35 RV Park) should have given it away, but in all our travels (33 states and 4 Canadian Provinces), this was the loudest and least appealing. Scheduled to stay three nights...leaving after one sleepless one.
This RV park is right on I-35. As such, the road noise is evident and somewhat loud. However, the staff is very friendly and quite helpful. They helped me with an electrical issue I was having. Also, they had good advice on the things to see and do in Waco. The free daily breakfast (7am-9am) is quite good and was a welcome way to start the day.
pretty good RV park - our site was muddy and covered with fire ants but the managers stepped in and sprayed for the ants - the shower was ok - nothing special - but clean - I didn't eat the breakfast but heard other campers saying it was good - the rally room was pretty basic - plastic tables and folding metal chairs - not any kind of comfortable lounge area for meet and visits - the kitchen facilities also were basic - no dishwasher - one regular family-size refrig and one oven and cooktop - the... Gravel sites, many overgrown. Park is kept clean and mowed, unless you stay more than a week. Right on the freeway (I35), easy access. Really nice pool. Free breakfast if you are only staying the night.
Convenient to I-35 and Waco TX. Mgmt is friendly and helpful. Nice concrete entrance, but paved roads are old and uneven. Men's bathroom has only 1 shower, toilet, and lavatory is located by door and is very confined. FHU sites are gravel and mostly level with good 50 amp 120V power. Tree limbs on some sites need to be trimmed to keep from hitting Class A Coach roof. However, 50% of park is actually a full-time campground for full-time residents and construction workers, but everyone was nice.... Read More

I'd rate this park 7.5 in each category. RV Pilot

Nice park. Clean, good location, easy to park. Level sites. Great breakfast provided. Only thing is they do not accept credit card. Pay by check or cash. Otherwise, we liked the park. Will go back. ( with cash)
Friendly folks, let us choose a different site when we didn't want to stay sandwiched in between two other units. Older park, but well set up and easy to connect power, water and sewer. Very close to interstate and could hear the dirt race track down the road a bit. Do not accept credit cards, cash on the barrel head...
Great Park! Easy access off of I-35. Full hookups, shady spots, big pool for the kids and best of all FREE breakfast! We were just passing through, but will definitely make it a point to be back.
