(within 10 miles)
Explore some of Florida's most scenic kayaking and paddling!
Rent a kayak, paddle board, or jon boat and float in our crystal clear water where the wildlife is incredible and the fishing is outstanding. Salt water enthusiasts can head to the Gulf of Mexico just six miles down river.
Stay somewhere else is our advice! The tent camping area is far from the bathrooms/showers, as in driving distance. Plus, we were able to book on their website a site with electricity, but we were bumped to this rustic area. They told us we had to have an RV, but they took our money anyway and allowed someone else to stay in the site we originally paid for. The rustic tent area is not worth the price!
This campground does not live up to a Good Sam park. Location is a close walk to the river but not worth the stay there. The office staff was very rude from day 1. Their bathrooms were not clean, and no hot water in all showers(hit or missed). Their WIFI was very poor, not that it matters but they should not advertise as part of their amenities. They have a playground that is not well kept, run down. Most sites are wooded, they advertise over gravel, but the gravel is only in a few sites. They... Read More

They seem to be pouring more recently but mostly is all weeds and lawn hardly cared for. The major turn off was the costumer service when calling prior to making the reservation, and during check in. The lady who worked the office is always edgy and constantly rude. Avoid this campground if all possible. It is beautiful and peaceful but not the best experience. There are other options in this area.

Very Nice place to stay, spent three nights there and could have spent more. Deeply shaded, but narrow roads make bringing in a long/big rig difficult. Not impossable, just tight in spots. Clean, quiet and friendly. Was told on arrival that cable was out, but WiFi was great. (Helped that I was next to one of the access points). If you stay, and have never been before, be sure to visit the Homossa State Park just north on Rt. 19. Great park, nice boat ride into the facility and be sure to say... Read More

This a campground, not an RV park. WiFi is bad, especially on weekends when the sites fill up. Way too many trees to get any satellite signal, so tv antenna was it. During the week you can use Netflix, but not when park fills up. Generally nice people, great location if you like to fish or kayak. Can get a bit muddy and the roads are filled with big potholes. Weekends are a zoo, parties everywhere and noise all night. My last weekend there, people were setting off very loud fireworks which of course... Read More

If your looking for quiet, this is not the place. Great for fishing, nice trails and springs, close to stores and parks. Just remember it's a campground and is a bit rough and loud. I will stay again, but not for 2 months again.

Nice shady sites, very clean restrooms and showers, a bit muddy with the rain, but nothing too messy...overall a nice small park. Great river trip in the kayaks. Will come again, very busy on the weekends getting on the river.
Very pleased. Nothing fancy but very adequate and enjoyable. Easy access RV spaces under shade trees. Good cable service. Nice controlled access bathrooms. Reasonable prices. Easy access to onsite general store and boat ramp.
Staff was very helpful. Nice quiet wooded spaces. We will go back.
