We booked online into a standard site - read that as not very good and really, really sandwiched into a spot. We booked online into a standard site - read that as not very good and really, really sandwiched into a spot. Due to the RV power plug being corroded, we moved (especially after seeing where we were going to be parked) to a more premium spot - which was very nice and right on the pond. The front of the park all has nice concrete pads, the backside and the pond portion are all sand/grass. Be careful when booking online as you may not know what you are getting for a spot - there is no real park map to choose spots and the pictures are not particularly helpful. The bathroom near the office was very nice, very clean. Wifi was adequate. Park is controlled access via gate code.

We've stayed at Dixieland Music and RV Park serval times and always enjoy our stays with them. Staff is super friendly and really go out of their way to make sure you're satisfied. It's a nice RV Park that makes you feel at home. One of these visits we hope to come back to enjoy one of their musical events,

We would like to thank the owner and staff at this campground for the kindness during our stay. We were heading from central Florida to Ohio for the summer so I could do some workamping. We were already two weeks late due to repairs on Motor Home. We pushed really hard for 2 days to get the MH loaded. My husband was falling on Sunday but kept insisting we are leaving, we drove to this campground and were greeted by Lee he got us checked in and was so kind to say "tell your husband to stay in and he will get us hooked up". We got a good nights rest and he was feeling pretty good so we decided to stay Monday night also. Well he started falling again in the afternoon after the 3rd fall I finally told him to stay down I was calling the paramedics. The Alachua County EMS were there so quickly and they said his blood pressure was way to low. They transported him to the Wonderful Gainesville VA Hosp, where they kept him for a week. He and his wife came over to help me get the car disconnected so I could get the Hospital they all checked on him continually. We were able to pay day by day then when we hit 1 week they changed it over the weekly rate. We cannot tell you how thankful we are to everyone at this campground. Thank you all so much, we will be back.

He was awesome and went above and beyond to make sure we were settled into our site! The ladies in the office were very helpful with getting me all setup w/my Good Sam Club membership too! Our only issue was with the bathrooms. Though very clean, the stalls are average size, no large handicapped size and only 2 showers, though I only had to wait for a shower once. We will be back!!

While there were no picnic tables, the owners said they were looking into providing them. Campfires were allowed in fire rings that were off the ground if you had one. A variety of entertainment was provided in the pavilion of which some was free while others there was a small charge. The pond provided a nice area to relax and catch and release fish if you were so inclined. I would recommend this campground for short or long stays.
