I wish all campgrounds were like this. On a lake, boats available, some walking trails, nice camp employees, great bathrooms, sites on cliff are charged by the view, mostly big rigs up there (except for us). Sites on lake level are a little more crowded but also very nice. Only complaint is it is a little pricey, but then look at the rating. You get what you pay for.
We had a great stay! We were on cliff site #8. Lucked out with no one at site 7 so we had a fantastic view of the lake! A bit of a walk up a steep path to get from clifftop to docks but they offer golf carts for rent if you need. Fire pit on this site was in an awkward spot unfortunately (wrong side of our trailer to view the lake and somewhat in the road) so we did not use but it was too hot anyway. They do have 2 fantastic looking fire pits near the lake with Adirondack style chairs as well as... Read More

They do have 2 fantastic looking fire pits near the lake with Adirondack style chairs as well as a hightop-like sitting area near playground/shop which we sat at while kids played on playground. All the staff were nice, helpful and knowledgeable about the lake. Clean facilities, laundry was clean and very nice, I felt comfortable leaving my items while they were being washed/dried. Rented a pontoon to explore the lake and it was plenty big for the 4 of us, fishing and swimming. Wish they had explained that there was an end time (told rent was for "all day")which makes sense for closing up the area, however we had wanted to go for an evening ride after we ate - would have gone out beforehand had we known. "Beach" very small but clean, mostly an entry point to enter lake. Fun water trampoline, super nice dock for fishing off with plenty of slips for boats. We did not go into any of the cabins but the lawn was very well maintained. We would definitely stay again.
