This was our very first trip in our RV and we came into town for a dog show so we had our three pups with us. Thankfully, they put us right next to the dog park so potty and play time was very easy. Spots are on gravel and pretty close together but it's a quiet place with what looks to be some long timers there as well as the weekend travelers. The spot we got accommodated our 43ft toy hauler, the Ram 3500 as well as the Toyota Sienna dog mobile. Reasonably priced. We didn't use the other facilities.... Read More

If you've got a very large rig, ask to be put where the overhanging trees won't scratch your RV.

This RV Campground has an appealing overall appearance with a nice large and level off road entry. Actual sites are a little to close for any real privacy and the age of the park shows in the un-repaired damages at some sites including broken and un-level cement patio slabs and protruding nails in landscape site dividers. We were told to follow our site guide in his golf cart, a nice feature for our pull-through site #50. While being guided into position by him we unfortunately hit a tree protruding... Read More

While being guided into position by him we unfortunately hit a tree protruding into our site and damaged our trailer's roof. The manager told me it was my fault because I was the one who was driving! Not a pleasant experience!

Tucked out of the mainstream is a shady, well-maintained RV park. Sites are generously sized the property is secure and quiet it has easy access to travel arteries to reach almost anywhere in San Antonio quickly and with moderate traffic flows. The park is near an air force base and there is the occasional jet roar but mostly during the day. Overall one of the nicest, most reasonably priced parks we’ve visited.
Going through Good Sams directions lead into new subdivision about 4 miles away at abadeer trl not Potranco road. Other than that everything was great. Management was very friendly and helpful.
We found Tejas Valley RV park to be quiet and comfortable. The rates are great. The Wifi is outstanding. The folks running the park are friendly and accommodating. We stayed for a month in Nov/Dec 2017. Some sites are small & most are very close together. Interior roads are newly paved. Pool was crystal clear. We are hoping to return in May 2018.
