I stayed at Wildwood RV Village on two occasions and both times were very good. This RV Park appears to be a mix of long and short term stays. I like this RV Park as an overnight stop when I travel down I-75 to the Florida Turnpike. The location is near The Villages, shopping, and many other amenities you might want while traveling. The staff is very friendly and check-in is very easy. They do have an after hours kiosk where you can find your campsite information and map. There is a laundry... Read More

The staff is very friendly and check-in is very easy. They do have an after hours kiosk where you can find your campsite information and map. There is a laundry which looks pretty good. Also, there is a swimming pool onsite. While not a fully loaded resort RV park, there are plenty of amenities to keep everyone happy. Most importantly, the campsite feels very safe and the campers I met were very friendly. The only downside to this campground is it's proximity to a truck stop and the highway, but I didn't find this bothersome.
Overall this is a very good choice for a short term stay while on the road. I can't speak to longer term stays, but judging by the nearly full occupancy, a lot of campers seem very happy there.

We pulled into this RV park to see field of hookups. No shade, no cement just dirt. The website does not post pictures which should have been a warning. Big sign that says that park is in the Good Sams top 100 parks How??? Hoping we can get a refund Left immediateely and found another park an hour away.
We stayed at Wildwood RV Village for 3 nights during our travels to another park for the winter. We found staff to be very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The park has a fair number of full timers, but there was a good number of campers staying for the winter months, like us. A good number of "snowbirds" have come to stay for multiple years, which is a good indication of their happiness with the park. Our plans are to spend the month of March at Wildwood, as they are currently expanding... Read More

Our plans are to spend the month of March at Wildwood, as they are currently expanding the park by adding additional spaces. The WiFi reception is typical of most parks, nothing special. However, we have discovered reception is better using our cell phone as a hotspot, so we rarely use any park's WiFi. Cable stations are limited and the reception wasn't the best, however, it was good enough for us. If you have friends or family living in the The Villages, this park is within a few miles of the place. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will not hesitate to return in March.
