Horse Motel and RV fun
A place for you and the horse! Enjoy the peaceful park but go see the sights. The flat-topped peak served as a lookout for Comanche raiders preying on cowboys driving cattle along the Chisolm and Comanchero Trails.

Great spot for an overnight! Clean, friendly and spots are big and level!
This is a very nice park for a few days stay. Best feature? Trees!! The facility is well-maintained with a good gravel base for the RV. There is a nice patio area to sit and watch the sun set. It's not a park with lots of amenities, but it is clean, attractive, and great for dog owners. It's far enough away from the highway that there isn't too much noise.
This was our second stay here, Owners are really nice people. The sites are level and spacious, and all facilities are super clean. Hookups were flawless, good voltage, good water pressure and sewers placed in the proper place at ground level. Far enough off the highway no noticeable road noise, close to town. Have stayed at a couple other places in Tucumcari, this is the best.
Got us a nice pull thru on short notice after going to the Elks and finding the place overgrown with weeds. Very nice owners. They were helpful in extending our stay an extra day due to weather. Sites were very level. hookups were very good. Nice, quiet place. We will say here anytime we are passing thru Tucumcari.
We stayed here one night and had a nice stay. The staff was accommodating on providing the space we requested, the park was clean and quiet. We did not use the restrooms or laundry but they were clean. The entire park is level and gravel through out. No cable but they did have a lot of DVD's that you can used for free. Other than cable this is a full hook up park to include water, sewer, and 50 amp electric. This park is easy on and off the interstate at a reasonable price and we would stay here... Read More

Very quiet, relaxing place to stay while traveling I-40. Right off the highway, easy to find and get set up. People were very friendly. They even has Christmas lights up.
This was a good overnight stop. Gravel throughout but sites were very level. Didn't hookup to water due to predicted low temps but elec and sewer worked fine. Restrooms clean and private. Reservation and check in easy and the price very reasonable. Didn't use laundry but it looked very clean. $1.50 per wash load but didn't notice dryer price. Would stay here again.
Everything was well thought out. Multiple independent restroom facilities and very low road noise even though historic Route 66 is less than a block away. We were guided to our camp sight and both attendants were friendly and took time to chat briefly. This is our 2nd time to stay and we will surely stop in again next July when we make the trip again.
This is a very convenient park right off 40. The staff is so helpful - helped me with a water connection that saved me a lot of headache! I will definitely return for the large pass thrus that are so easy to maneuver.
Registration was easy and done over the phone. We arrived late for a quick overnight and we were escorted to our spot via golf cart. Nice level sites with a dog run. The amenities were closed due to Covid but what we could access was clean and well kept. Appreciated the virus awareness this park displayed.
Very clean RV park with friendly, helpful owners. The shower facilities are top notch. We can't think of a nicer place to stay when passing through NM. They honored my Good Sam's membership for a great rate!
