I have been camping for more than 50 years. This is one of the nicest campgrounds I have ever stayed at. Sites are large and well laid out. Grounds are attractive and impeccably maintained. This campground is about an hour from all the tourist attractions but there is lots of opportunity in and around the campground for hiking and biking. We took about an hour hike directly from the campground among the beautiful fall colors. We were there on a rainy September weekend so did not use the available... Read More

This campground is about an hour from all the tourist attractions but there is lots of opportunity in and around the campground for hiking and biking. We took about an hour hike directly from the campground among the beautiful fall colors. We were there on a rainy September weekend so did not use the available tubing or kayaking on the river which adjoins the campground. When we have the opportunity we want to go back with our grandson. They would love the bike pump track and large campground roads for riding their bikes,
