This is an AMAZING Campground!!! Big Rigs -- this is your quiet Acadia Campground. We have a 45' diesel pusher and the sites are huge, plenty of room on the site and easy in/out. All sites have a fabulous view of the ocean. If you're looking for the "theme park" feel campground with golf carts and craziness -- this is NOT your park. However if you're looking for a new (our fire ring had not been used yet), 50 AMP, FHU site with awesome fast wifi, a million dollar view, fabulous owners who care about the property, wildlife and are looking to provide an amazing nature experience -- this is your campground. Oh, and did I mention "Dark Sky" -- you feel like you can reach up and grab the milkyway -- you don't want miss the star show. There is also a community garden and you're free to help yourself (just shut the gate). We were greeted with a "Welcome Bag" filled with a ton of information about the area, things to see/do, places to eat and best yet -- info about the night sky and tides. They also have kayaks available to rent. So far on our stay we've seen bald eagles, wild turkeys, deer, and osprey carrying fish. Heads up (pun intended) -- you need to have a self contained rig, there are no bathroom facilities (which is fine for us). This is a brand new park -- they are still building and I can't wait to see it when they are finished!
