It is a very pretty place on the river with huge trees. If you dont need electronics you will be fine. The internet does not work. If you dont have a portable dish you will not have TV. The cell service is sketchy and very spotty.
Great place to relax, clean and quiet, boardwalk to the river is a must walk. Sites are not paved but are level. Wi Fi is not good have to go to clubhouse. We have come here 3 years now, enjoy the nearby bike path. Owner and host are very nice and helpful.
I must say, this was a pleasant surprise and I would do it again in a heartbeat... I highly recommend the boardwalk... And I must say hanging out at the pool was wonderful...
Couple running place very nice but it's a wreck. Much of it looks under construction and sand everywhere. No paved roads and no paved sites. Advertised WiFi but you had to go to clubhouse, a long walk . Makes me wonder anew at how GS does its ratings.
Hi John, we are sorry you did not enjoy your stay. In the future, it may help to visit a campground's website to determine if it has the amenities you require before making a reservation. I feel there may have been an over site as we have never advertised that we have paved roads or paved sites at our park. Our website clearly states we are a rustic and nature-based campground and if you click on the Campnative link you will see pictures of each site, and there is also a video of the campground.... As far as the sand everywhere, we are doing improvements in one section of our park to add more sites so that we may provide full hook up service and more site selection to our customers. We are sorry that the sand offended you, but it is part of the upgrade process. We would have appreciated you coming to us during your stay if these were a problem for you as both Mitch and myself are very approachable people and would have done what we could to make your stay more pleasant, up to and including, suggesting a different campground that better suited your needs. We hope you will come again after improvements are completed, if you wish to stay at a rustic and nature-based campground. We wish you many great adventures in your future travels and God bless.

very friendly staff. Off the beaten path but pretty easy to find. Seems to be some long term camping going on and the 1 nighters are assigned to some sites that are pretty sandy. Tons of flying insects coming out of the sand. Had a good rest but not sure I would stay again.
This campground is in a rural area, and down a half mile sandy road. The sites are mostly under trees. There is a long boardwalk out to a deck on the Suwannee River. The clubhouse has a TV, tables, a kitchen, and two bathrooms. Next to the clubhouse is a small pool with a table & chairs and a couple of lounge chairs. From what I understood, this campground was under new owners who have plans for expanding. While we were there, sites being converted to FHU from just W/E. The wifi was only available... Read More

From what I understood, this campground was under new owners who have plans for expanding. While we were there, sites being converted to FHU from just W/E. The wifi was only available in the clubhouse and didn't connect to the internet very well. If we didn't have our own hotspot, that would have been a disappointment. The cable that is available was fuzzy while we were there but from what we heard, that may have been a temporary problem.
Because I enjoy quiet, rural settings, I would stay here again for more than an overnight visit.

We have camped here three times this spring. We love the campground. Great places to walk/hike and ride bikes. The board walk to the river is a favorite walk for us. The owners are great to work with. This is really a place to relax.
