Very nice park. Stayed 4 nights and used as a base camp for visiting Redwood NP. Nice local attractions as well, including the Klamath River and easy access to Pacific Ocean. Staff and owners were very welcoming and responsive to our needs. Highly recommend staying here.
We had a wonderful stay at Kamp Klamath. It was quiet during quiet hours as well as most of the rest of the time we were there. Also had wonderful neighbors. Will camp there again if we have the opportunity.
The grounds were very well-maintained while remaining natural and unspoiled. Lots of beautiful flowers around the office and the common areas. Our welcome could not have been warmer and got much good advice about the area. Would definitely recommend taking the short trip out to this RV park. Very family friendly.
We pulled in one day in advance of our reservation. They quickly jiggled around some other reservations and got us settled in. We stayed for 3 nights. The individual sites were lightly shaded, level, and as wide as any other RV campground we’ve been in recently. The campground was clean, well organised, and quiet. On a couple of occasions we asked the host for local information and they were honest and forthcoming. The campground is located 2 miles off the interstate and is conveniently close to... Read More

The campground is located 2 miles off the interstate and is conveniently close to the northerly and southerly ends of Jedediah Smith Redwoods national and state park. Klamath has some amenities, but the larger Crescent City is only 23 miles north. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful and it was obvious they were trying hard to run a good campground. This is an excellent campground and we recommend it highly.

Don’t know why Goodsam gave this place such a high rating. There were sheds and storage buildings all over the place. Also tents like something was growing inside them. Wasn’t a pleasant experience looking at all this stuff while staying there.
Although there was a mix-up in our assigned space upon arrival, the staff was friendly and helpful in resolving it quickly. The Mesa sites were a bit close together for our taste, but the level gravel pad and private patch of grass with picnic table and fire ring were well maintained. The grounds were well kept, and the maze of trails through the camp and down to the river were pleasant for walking our dog. The location is idyllic, with very little traffic traveling down the dead-end road. If we’re... Read More

Incredible campground with outstanding staff. Large vegetable garden campers can pick from, grassy open area, spacious wooded sites, close to so many great trails and trails on the property. Great location to Redwoods. We stayed 7 nights and were sad to leave. We would definitely stay here again.
Family friendly. Wonderful park with an assortment of accommodations. Lots of wonderful trails in the campground. Great location to many attractions. Salmon, chicken, and music BBQ in the summer months. Amazing garden for vegetables. Peaceful forest environment. Store has basic necessities. Friendly owner and staff
Wonderful place to stay and play. The staff are super friendly. The grounds are well kept. Bathrooms/Showers are clean. This park is so close to the ocean you can hear the sea lions. Amazing hiking!!!!! Fishing is great red tail surf perch, Salmon, Steel head. I definitely recommend this park!!!
This is a well-kept up RV park located in a beautiful coastal area of Northern California. Management was very helpful and pleasant. Restrooms were older and needed some maintenance, but were clean. Great area to explore and we got some great Tri-Tip sandwiches by the Klamath gas station. We will be back!
We really enjoy rustic camping, but with our 45 ft motor home, not many campgrounds can take us. The owner and staff at Kamp Klamath went out of their way to make sure we would fit...and fit we did! A one week stay turned into 2 weeks. The Sat. night Salmon BBQ was so outstanding we had to stay for the next one. There is so much to see and do in the area along with outstanding fishing and beautiful rivers, Kamp Klamath is hard to beat. Can't wait to return. We camped at Kamp Klamath RV Park in a... Read More
