The campground is conveniently located and some planned upgrades could make it a five star stay. The park is clean and the sites are well maintained. However, the campground lacks a playground, pool, or dog park that are common to many campgrounds. It's clear the park has some aging infrastructure. I had to share a water supply with an adjacent site via a hose splitter - requiring a long water supply hose. The location of the dump site is very inconvenient - as it blocks the only exit to the campground.... Read More

It's plain this is an older campground that is working on upgrades and renovation. Still, they smartly market the principal positive quality of the campground - convenient proximity to the Ark Encounter.

Great friendly, helpful and courteous staff. Read fine print, RV sites DO NOT have sewer hook ups. Dump station on unlevel pavement. Might have capacity issues since instructions ask guest to dump their tanks before arriving at Three Springs. Cabins do not have water or restrooms. After heavy rain, several RVs had standing water around and/or near them, poor drainage. One lane winding road from main highway. Abandoned motor home near entrance. Office and some cabins need painting. This... Read More

We enjoyed our stay here. Because it was so early in the season there wasnt much to do on the grounds. The cabin was clean and decorated quaintly. We were given an electric space heater to keep us warm I was very grateful for it. It was really cold at night. I wish there were closer bathrooms or outhouses for us oldies who have small night time bladders. The bathrooms were VERY CLEAN. We will be back - probably with the RV and during fishing season and swimming season. Thank you!!
The sites are adequate. They need more gravel, less mud. Mostly level. The bathrooms are less than adequate. There was no toilet paper or hand towels during our entire stay. We received a call from the camp host 10 minutes before we arrived. She informed us that everyone goes to bed at 9 o'clock and since it was past 9 o'clock we needed to be extremely quiet! She was quite abrupt, even rude and a bit arrogant. When we arrived there were several semi- noisy groups enjoying their time, as would... Read More

The rules were numerous and somewhat ridiculous such as "do not touch the umbrellas". During our stay we felt anxious and uncomfortable, fearing we might break a rule and be scolded again. To give credit where credit is due, the host did help us park when a neighbor had to be asked to move their vehicle.
