Very disappointed. I have been coming to Hidden Ridge (now Sun Retreat Gun Lake) for over ten years. Now that it is now Sun Retreats is has gone downhill. The weight room has equipment that has been broken for over a year. Complaints yield no call back. Kids jumping pillow has a leak that has not been fixed, splash pad is still broken even though the web site says its open, internet did not work (I was told to call the tech company myself. After a half hour on the phone it was determined the park... Read More

No call back from the manager then either even though I requested one.) Cable TV goes out at least once a day. I have spent thousands at this resort and made the hard decision to not come back.Used to be our favorite place, no longer the case.

Beautiful, huge RV resort with multiple lakes/ponds and views. Very open but sites are spaced far enough apart to feel private. Lots of activities for kids, laundry, etc. Great place for families, but as a couple we really enjoyed it, too. People are very friendly, site is beautifully-maintained.

Very nice park with paved roads and sites. Lots of green space and "neighborhoods" rather than all sites being jammed together. Good utilities including good wifi. Roads not named and you are not led to your site which leads to confusion in locating site. Trash is near entrance which makes for a very long walk to dispose of it. Our utilities hookups were are the front of site which made an extension necessary.
Grounds and facilities are beautiful. We only stayed overnight and close to the park closing for the season, so we did not use the pool or go down by the lake. Each pad is concrete and pretty level. We couldn't get wi-fi access, and that may be because we were on the outskirts of the park. This is just a really nice, well-maintained place to stay. We definitely plan to return on our next trip to Michigan.
I have stayed at Hidden Ridge many times over many years. The park is been getting better every year. The lots are large, paved, and have real grass. The grounds are clean and staff very friendly. One of the best parks we stay at every year. The on weak point is the WiFi.
Looked at this facility on line prior to our arrival and I was impressed. I was really impressed as we entered the park. The park is very well manicured and maintained. The office is impressive and the staff very friendly and very helpful. Each site is a fairly level concrete pad. I did have to disconnect to facilitate fore/aft leveling (only stayed 1 night) . This would be a great place for long term stay if you were so inclined. We have stayed in many places, this one is in the top 2. Did not... Read More
