We liked the park and its quietness. However, I care for my elderly mother and we didn't know we'd be off grid. Not the park's issue, but their WIFI was not operational and mom had problems. Then the next morning our electric kept kicking off. Was supposed to be 50A service but we ran with just 1 AC unit and their breaker kept popping. The breaker was marked for 45A, not 50. When I walked up to the office to complain, they put a fan on the box instead of fixing it. Guess the problem was there... Read More

If I knew these things were addressed, I'd stay there again. be sure to check before you go.

BEWARE!!!! R & D Family Campground Milford, VA BEWARE!!!! Made a reservation three months in advance for our trip in April 2019. The owner called a week before we were to arrive and confirmed. When we arrived we were told they didn't have a spot for us. Will never stay at this camp ground.
This really was a quiet and peaceful campground just like their headline said! We could visit Fredericksburg and Richmond from here. The guys that run the park were nice and helpful.
We only stayed at this campground for one night. It's way out in the country and very quiet. The site looked unlevel, but when we set up the levels we found that it wasn't that bad. We had a 50-amp pull-through with full hook-ups.
We stayed for four nights while visiting family in the area. Our campsite was larger than most and we had 50 amp hook up. However, we felt the service was poor as we asked for help with cable hook up and asked for assistance with an issue with our camper and never received help or a call back. All in all, it was an OK experience.
