We had a large wonderful site here near the front with a campfire pit. Water & electric, no sewer hook up but they do have two dump stations. Sites in the back area are not as spacious. There are cabins and tent area as well. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very nice gift shop and office area. There are stables near the entrance offering trail rides. Nice pavilion BBQ area and playground. Right near the entrance to the park and back off the main road.
Pretty much corporate. No personal touch. No cell service, no wifi, sites are not what is pictured when booking. Weeds, not mowed, not private, next to road. Very pricey for what you get. They offer things to do, but you pay for everything. Buggy, flies. Worst place on 3 week trip.
Great place, just a little barren when it comes to the pad sites, but quite roomy. We have a 30' TT with a 1 ton. Lot's of room for good approach and we had a back in. Great staff, great rest rooms, location, amenities and excellent location with a nice little store for necessities. Awesome swimming hole on the winding river. Not sure if the dogs, kids or adults enjoyed it more. One thing sets this resort aside in my mind. The friendly staff work really hard to keep it pristine and the are lots... Read More

The friendly staff work really hard to keep it pristine and the are lots of them always ready to help. On Labor Day weekend, the rest rooms never lacked attention (spotless) or hot water and, being horse friendly, clean up was awesome. Utilities were fine except wifi. Bring a water pressure reducer and fly strips, just for this time of year for the fly strips, however. Draws a Colorado, friendly customer base too with lots of well behaved kids. We reserved for next year, our 2nd visit. Check out Constitution Week and fireworks in Grand Lake, the week after Labor Day. They have speakers reviewing the actual "facts"...refreshing. Did I mention the lakes, beach, marina rentals, food, shops and immediately adjacent Rocky Mtn national park. Guess not! Come find out....spend a week. Cool nights moderate days. This time of year, you'll run heat at night and a/c during the day.

A pretty nice RV park right on the Southern border of Rocky Mountain National Park. Rustic is the best description I can come up with. We had a water/electric site but the dump station was convenient to use when we left. As we rode our bicycles around the park I noted a wide disparity between the privacy of many sites and an open field packed with RV's so I guess you take your chances. Good fly fishing and hiking opportunities. We saw two bull moose and lots of elk. A good base camp to... Read More

We stayed here on the last night they were open for the season. Its a lovely campground at the edge of Rocky Mountain National Park. The campsites are large and level, with a good distance between sites. Lots of trees, fantastic views of mountains and fall colors. The showers were fine, just a bit tight. Only two washers and dryers so be prepared to wait your turn. This would be a great place to spend more time and we will return next visit to Colorado.
