The park is well kept and has plenty of things to keep everyone entertained. We arrived on a Wednesday and the first night we almost had the entire park to ourselves. It was quite and there was a big meadow behind our campsite. The by the end of our stay it was completely full I would recommend you reserve a site with the land behind you. The sites we level and the hooks worked like they should. The is another reason that makes this place great because your in HERSHEY! There is a lot to explore... Read More

Great Park, Very friendly and helpful staff. Hookups were in good condition and proper placement for easy access. Will definitely stay here again.
Very clean and friendly. There is a set of train tracks VERY close by that run all day and night. It takes a while to get used to, but it is not a deal breaker. It does not blow the whistle. We stayed for the AACA swap meet and car show and the free shuttle was great. There is a nice gift shop and small store on site which was handy for items we forgot to pack. I have stayed here 2 years in a row now and will come again. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the cost is a bit high, especially during... Read More

We selected Hersheypark because of the shuttle to the amusement park. This proved convenient though we also drove into Hershey because they had a festival going on while we were there. Enjoyed our stay as it was their Halloween season and lots of sites were decorated for the holiday. Yes there are frequent trains nearby, but we weren't too bothered by them.
Sites down by the river are nice a peaceful. Did not notice trains that others said was too loud. Only complaint was with beginning of season, shuttle bus was slow. Enjoyed the stay and restrooms were extremely clean.
Very tight sites in pull through section. Full hook ups as well. Best thing about campground is the shuttle bus to Hersheypark. Saves money on parking. Yes you can here the trains all night as the rail road on top the hill next to campground.
First night we stayed in a dry camping for 55$ box! Then we stayed for 2 others nights for 122$! the train is too close you can even sleep. Good point the shuttle bring you directly to Hersheypark or If you want to bicycle it's safe on the Hwy39.
Trains run next to the campground frequently all day and night. They don't tell you when you reserve. We tried to change camp sites and were told the campground was full however, these sites stayed empty while we were there. Long wait times to check in. Motorhome section sites are very small. Didn't see any security, glad we didn't need it.
