My wife has obstructive sleep apnea and uses a CPAP device requiring electricity. Her doctor told her NOT TO SLEEP if her device wasn't working because she would stop breathing. So she had to stay up ALL NIGHT. Called the office the next morning to try to find out when power was likely to be restored. I got this: Please leave your name and number, etc. ... Half of Schuyler County was without power. We had NO CHOICE but to depart early. Subsequently, I called the manager, explained the situation, and asked if he would refund the 2 days that we DID NOT STAY at the campground. He refused to refund my payment for the two days we needed to leave early, because "it's our policy". Called corporate to see their policy, and the answer was that "each campground has its own policy". Money obviously means more to him than the life of my wife.
