We stayed for 7 nights in a fifth wheel. Very nice campground and good location to enjoy Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Good level site with some shade. We paid a few dollars extra/night for daily honey wagon pump out. We could have chosen to schedule pump out instead but decided the extra price was worth it. The campground in a stop for the town's free shuttle service which made going into Bar Harbor or Acadia very easy and convenient. Didn't have to worry about finding parking all the time.... Read More

We have a washer/dryer in our trailer, but I wanted to wash sheets at the campground laundromat while here. It is very pricey- $4/load and can only use cold water.
Would definitely consider staying here again.

We stayed at Hadley's for 5 days, enjoying every minute of our time at the park. The short term sites are rather close together, but easily accessed, even with large 5th wheel trailers and class A motorhomes. The pool is large, and the facilities appear to be in good shape, although we did not use any of them. There are two nice benefits for staying at Hadley's. First, there is a restaurant across the street that has good prices on lobster dinners and free delivery. Secondly, the free shuttle... Read More

Secondly, the free shuttle service that travels to/from all points of interest in the Acadia/Bar Harbor areas stops in the park every 30 minutes all day long. The negatives is that very few sites have sewer hookups, however, they do offer honey wagon services for a fee. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return in the future.

Nice CG on the site of an old fairgrounds. We were in a large field and sites were large. Bathrooms were cleaned every several hours. Had a problem with ant infestation around power pedestal and was told they were not able to help. Borrowed some insecticide from a neighbor and took care of the issue. Different pricing depending on who checks you in....Several food options very close (Rose Eden Lobster & Mainly Meats) superb food at great pricing (1/2) of what it is in Bar Harbor several miles... Close to Bar Harbor and Arcadia NP. Plenty of activities outside of the campground. Lots of dining options in town and nearby. I would have stayed here longer but they didn't have room. I would stay here again.
