This is our second time staying at Branson Lakeside RV. We really love the park as it sits right on Lake Taneycomo. Absolutely beautiful. This year we stayed closer to the boat marina side and really loved our spot. It was very spacious and no overhead trees so our Starlink would not be blocked. Staff are super friendly and always willing to help. This park is in walking distance to all of the Lakeside shops and very close to lovely downtown Branson. We cannot say enough good things about... Stayed in motor coach starting 7-14-24. We were in the newer section without trees. We enjoyed pull through with concrete pad. Small strip of grass between sites. Didn't see any signs posted that it was prone to flash flooding. Not sure if we will return.

We love this camp ground, it's near everything in Branson. Very easy to get in and out of the park. It's right on the water and has several fishing docks available to fish off of. There is a marina at the site to rent a boat if you want.
We have tried other places in Branson, but keep coming back here. It’s location, close to everything yet quiet and comfortable. Plus you are close to the water.
Upside, Facility was clean and staff was helpful. Downside, spaces were very small and barely large enough for camper. Seems that site specs are not in line with camper size.
Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my stay at Branson Lakeside RV Park. My husband and I have been coming here for 6 years and meet up with friends who themselves have been coming here for twice as long as us. We booked reservations for this year while camping on site last July so there would be no issue on the adjacent sites we would be camping at this year. When we arrived on July 1, we were not placed on the sites we had booked. We were told those sites were not available and it didn't matter that we had booked a year in advance. Staff would not work with us. The site my husband and I were given was too small for the trailer we were pulling. In addition, there was not enough room to extend our awning. We stepped out of our front door and were able to touch the slide out of the trailer next to us as well as having to dodge their sewer hookup. I understand that in an emergency, it is not always possible to get the site that you have booked, but we were given no reason as to why we were placed somewhere different. It seems that each year this campground has progressively slid downhill. Yes, there have been improvements for the premium sites and they are able to accommodate large RVs. The location is also fabulous. However, if management is unable or unwilling to give you the site that you reserved than I see no reason to book in advance. There were several larger sites around us that remained unoccupied for our entire stay. What is wrong with this picture? I think the park has become too comfortable in their position of being the only RV park in that area. I am thankful that that is soon to change as there are two new parks being built on the other side of the lake.

Being the grumpy old goat that I am, I seldom if ever give a 5 star/ exceptional rating to anything. Having said that, the wife and I enjoy the campground location . Freight train and bridge traffic can be a little noisy at times. Staff has always been very friendly and helpful.
Will Not stay any other place in Branson.
Nice park, right on Lake Tannycomo. Great location, good Wi-Fi and cable
We loved our stay, everything was excellant. This was the first time travelling with our RV to Branson. We had an issue after we got setup with 30 amp breaker getting tripped, called the office and breaker was replaced immediatly and we experianced no more issues the rest of our stay. The Staff was nice and very attentive to our needs.
Nice facility overall. The staff in the office were over the top nice and helpful. Facility provides free cable connection but I did not have the needed coaxial cable—no problem. They had a spare cable and let me borrow at no cost. Only issue with this facility is that pads are pretty close together and hookups require alternate entry. Therefore, if you and your neighbor are out at the same time, you are pretty close. Not a bit deal, though, for us.
Very nice campground. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Nice, big, level pads and excellent amenities. I recommend staying there anytime.
The lake front sites are awesome however, they are very very tight! No room to have a fireside event at night. The lake is great. Walking distance to a lot of Branson. People there are very friendly.
Very convenient location. Close to downtown Branson. Easy access to the free downtown trolley, which has a stop right in campground. Bathhouse kept clean. Branson Scenic Railroad runs right past campground a positive for train buffs. On the downside, freight trains use the same tracks at around midnight. Campground set right on the waterfront. We had full hookups with cable and WiFi. Check-in process very easy. Everything done completely online. Just picked up our site assignment and map from outside... Read More

Only complaint is that the campsites are very small. Less than a foot between our camper and the neighboring picnic table/patio. Neighboring camper could not fully extend their awning without hitting our camper.

Stayed in space 115 for 5 nights. Space was directly across from the lake. The spaces are very tight. Restroom and showers definitely are not a 10* as rated. Nice location by the water. Just watch out for the goose poop. Having to cross the bridge almost every time we went anywhere was bad civil planning. When the sun sets, about 30% of the park is walking around with wine glasses in their hands. Very friendly neighbors.
We stayed in spot 19 along the back row because there were some large shade trees to help reduce the heat. Check in was very quick and we located our spot with ease. Space was good to back in the camper but the road that runs along the back is very busy with traffic going to and from the boat ramp. Camp sites are very close together and we found it difficult to enjoy any time outside. The sewer line for the camper beside us was in the middle of our picnic area. Camp sites are very close together and we found it difficult to enjoy any time outside. The sewer line for the camper beside us was in the middle of our picnic area. Most sites do not have a fire pit so we ended up doing s’mores over our portable gas grill. The WiFi had very good coverage and the cable was a nice to have because we were not comfortable using the outside area. They do a daily trash pick up at your site witch is nice. There are many full time residents that live along the back row witch makes the camp ground look junky. The location is great. Easy walk to Branson Landing with many dining options. This worked well because we did not cookout while we were there because of the shared space concerns I mentioned earlier. We ended up coming home with a ton of food. There is a free trolly that runs through downtown Branson and they have a stop in the campground. There is a very loud train that comes through typically between 1 am and 4 am. Many nights there were several trains. So we never got a full night sleep. The camping experience was poor but the location is great to tourist options. Probably would not stay here again. If we do we will go for a premium site so we get a fire pit and away from the train a bit. They are still very close together so the camping experience is not the best.

We had a wonderful visit. Was greated by staff at office to see if we found our assignment ok. We were right by the water and loved it. Hook-ups worked with ease and no issues. While we did not visit some of the camp amenities, on drives by they looked very clean. Everyone was very friendly, it was quiet, no issues at all! Will be back for sure.
We stayed in our fifth wheel in May 2021. Had made reservations for a lakeside reservation which we were given but those sites are so close together slides were right next to the other rv and when we put our steps down they were on the neighbors dog pen/dog bed and food bowls and they had three dogs. On these sites two RV's had to share the common area. Don't get me wrong we love dogs but not the constant smell. In addition the other RV had trash laying all over the area. We had a requested a... We had a requested a different site otherwise we were just going to leave, the staff was nice and was able to give us a premium site which was much better. At 12:30 am 1:30am and 2:30 freight trains went through the area and literally shook the whole RV. Unless you have a premium site sites are just crammed together. It seemed there were no restrictions on the size of dogs and amount of dogs many people had 3 dogs and very large dogs. The view of the lake was nice and what staff we met was friendly but due to the overall park we will not be staying here again.

The location, staff, and value make this the best RV Campsite in Branson hands down. The Staff are the best in the business and very helpful. The location is perfect within walking distance to Branson Landing, and the lake front is awesome. The price you pay per night makes it well worth it. We have stayed about 6 times and will be back again and again.

Very conveniently located next to the Branson Landing
We have a 40 foot goose-neck car-hauler with living area. We did not use the restrooms. Great campground, nice and clean. Had room to park the other vehicle behind the trailer. We used GPS to get there. We came off 65 on to W Main to Veterans Blvd. The turn from W Main to Veterans was very tight turn, we made it, but had to use both lanes to make the turn. So on the way out we took Branson Landing Blvd. to 65, much easier.
One of our favorite spots. Right next to Lake Taneycomo, full hookups, some shade and fishing docks. The park is a stop for the free trolley to downtown Branson.
Stay here often and always a good experience. We come to trout fish on Taneycomo which is right out your rv door. Also in easy walking distance (or free trolley ride) to shopping, dining at Branson Landing. They do need to give up on grass and pour more concrete pads for tables. We are generally in a mud hole or a dust bowl. Your rv and truck will be a mess unless you are a big rig in the premium sites at the new part. Fishing docks need repair and perhaps a trash can since people seem to think... Read More

They don't give specific site #s until you get there, and we were meeting another family and initially when we got there, we were split up. They worked to get us setup with a buddy site and even gave us a discount for our troubles. I would recommend. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that you can't reserve certain sites and there was no shade. Other than that, it was a great experience.
Small campsites, poor internet, cable tv is ok, location is good and convenient, price is reasonable. Did not use facilities due to covid 19 pandemic.
Park was reasonably priced for a vacation spot, and amenities provided were very good. Lots were a bit close together but acceptable. Great location and free trolly was nice. Would definitely stay here again when vacationing in the area.
Sites are so small you can barley put your awning out if neighbor has a slide-out. Restrooms are burning up with no apparent cooling on. Toilets are disgusting. Crap literally flowing over and piles of paper all over the wet filthy floor. I've been here for five days and it's the same every day. It was over July 4th weekend but still unacceptable. Whoever is in charge of maintaining this Branson City facility should be fired. The only thing this campground has going for it is great location... Read More

We stayed 2 nights. Very nice stay. Couldn't get the cable to work but not a big deal for us. Gave the restrooms a 4 out of 5 only because floors were little dirty and water temp could have been little higher.
This is a very nice park for the price. We didn't use the restrooms so I was trying not to mention them to much. We were asked to move about mid-way through our stay due to expected flooding risks (park is down stream from dam). Beyond that, location is good, fishing access is excellent. The only comment is that the park could provide directions for a good way to get to the park. We followed Google which took us downtown and almost had a problem with very narrow streets and sharp turns.
Great rv park right on the lake. The trolley has a stop in the RV park which is awesome, and it's easy walking distance to the Branson landing. I can't tell you how their shower house is because they were remodeling it while we were there but my 5 year old loved seeing how dirty the guys were coming out from sandblasting the shower house! We had a great stay and will definitely be staying here on our next trip to Branson!
We love this park because it is so close to the stores and other attractions. Free trolley and walking distance to the boardwalk.

Very nice picnic table with fire ring, and view of the river. One thing I did not like about our location was the railroad bridge nearby, but then again I do not think it matters where your located. 1:00 am every night a long freight train crosses that bridge making enough noise to wake the dead. Due to the location of our site this train shook the RV for about 20 minutes. Beware of the premier sites on that side of the park. Would I stay here again? Yes, but only if my site is on the other side of the park.

We had a "buddy site" at the campground with another couple - the space between was large. Our cement site was level and long (the cement was just long enough for the MH - gravel in front and behind). Some of the other sites did look small but still large enough for a MH. The dog park was nice. There is some noise from the trains but it did not bother us. I would definitely stay here again. And I almost forgot to mention how good the cable and WI-FI are!

Highly suggest calling ahead for directions, as most GPS units will not get you there easily in an RV. The personnel were very helpful and friendly but that is the best part of the park. Once we let our slides out they covered over half of the picnic table of our neighbor and ours was covered by the one next to us. The sights are very very small width wide. Water faucets leaked. Would not recommend staying
What a gem. Super easy access from highway and walking distance to a bunch of cool stuff. Huge outdoor mall less than half mile away and accessible by a paved path. Huge Bass Pro there and a bunch of other cool shops, restaurants etc. The free Moonshine tasting place is a must! Bartender should have been on Comedy Central. All dog friendly and the zip line is pretty cool too! Right on the water...I can't say enough. If you are in Branson stay here.
Called on my drive into Branson, the staff was wonderful about booking us a spot. They were super friendly. The camp host guided us to our premium pull through site , help us get setup and explained to us all about the park, area and even helped us get a rental car. This is one of the most perfectly located parks I have camped at . My 4 little boys loved the lake , the fishing . Branson is a must stay for any family.
Great hosts who go out of their way to make your stay the best it can be. Friendly and very helpful, great customer service. Best park in Branson for sure.........

A lot of us have satellites now so no trees is perfect, and we put up with the heat when it is really hot, it is a give and take. When temp is a little cooler, these sunny spots are great being so close to the waters edge. The park is easy to maneuver around, I have a 45' 5th wheel pulled by a quad cab dulle and I had zero problems getting around and into my slot. The staff are really really super friendly. If you have a large rig, check this park out and not the other local one that is a couple blocks off the Branson strip. Love this location along with the little taxis that take you to the Branson Landing. There is a train that runs all hours, but it was not bad at all, I have heard maybe one whistle each day, you hear the rumble sometimes but it is really not that big a deal and it is not that often. Any of the Water Edge sites are great! We will pick this park over all the rest when in the area. The Wifi is the big problem here, so if you need it, this is not the park for you, it is horrible! it goes offline all day and night every few minutes it seems. We camped at Branson Lakeside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall a good place to stay with the exception that it is next to the railroad tracks and a very noisy train goes through at 3 in the morning. Also adjacent to 2 bridges which has considerable vehicle traffic and the expansion joints on the bridges and vehicle tires make considerable noise.
Thank you for the review! We just made lots of updates so we hope to see you again in 2016!
We love this park! This is an RV Park: not a campground. It is in the heart of Branson right on Lake Taneycomo, and convenient to many activities. The staff will do anything to make your stay enjoyable and will do it with a smile on their face. If you want to have fun, this is the place.
The RV Park is managed by the City of Branson. It is located right off downtown next to the lake near Branson Landing. It was surprisingly quite for the area it is located. There is a trolley to the landing or you can walk. My wife and I stayed on the front row next to the lake. We both felt the pads were too close together. The Internet was fair (slow), Cable TV had a good selection. Restrooms are spick-and-span!
This park is run by the City of Branson. It sits right off downtown next to the lake. We had an OK spot but there were better spots available. Traffic is real heavy during the summer while trying to get to the park. You can sneak out of the back of the park and go thru the residential areas to avoid some of the congestion. Internet was OK, Cable TV was good.
Awesome visit, I stayed on the front row next to the lake. Enjoyed the rest and relaxation. I first thought the spots were too close together but in the end that wasn't an issue at all. We met some very nice fellow travelers and had a great time. Worth every penny. Visit and enjoy but make sure to get a premium spot on the water.
Enjoyed this park! Restrooms are immaculate! Our space (#98) was on the water and we loved seeing the wildlife. Appreciate the cement pad and loved how close we were to the trolley stop for Branson Landing. We will return!
Thank you! We appreciate your review! This winter we made all of our pads concrete as well as other improvements. We hope to see you again in 2016!
