Very secluded but in a perfect location for short trips to local attractions. When leaving the campground do yourself a favor and turn right to explore one of South Dakota's scenic byways. The owner and staff are very friendly and concerned of your needs. Showers recently remodeled and very clean.

We stayed here for 5 nights while we toured as much of the area as possible. Great location at the north end of Needles Highway for visiting Mount Rushmore, Keystone, Custer and Hill City. For all the families there with children, the park was very quiet. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. We used our trailer facilities mostly but I visited the men's rest room to shave one evening. The facilities were clean and there was plenty of hot water! The laundry facility was small... Read More

Our Verizon cell service was terrible here and the site's WiFi was sketchy, but being on vacation it didn't matter much to us.

I loved this campsite, it had an easy to use lay out and was well maintained. It was nice seeing all the deer throughout the campgrounds and was the perfect distance from near by Mount Rushmore but still a little off the beaten path so you didn't hear traffic at night.

This was an excellent choice for a vacation with our grandchildren. Park is very quiet and pride of ownership is evident. Park is well maintained. The bathroom facilities are extremely clean. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Our sewer hose was not long enough and owners offered us their own unused hose so that we did not have to purchase another hose. Location is very convenient for the various sites people come to the Black Hills to see.

Owner/managers were very nice people, it's a nice place to camp or use a small tent trailer but not an A class or large m/h. The sites are not level, the roads are not level, rough with large pot holes. I can't rate the rest rooms because I never went in one.
