East Glacier KOA is the 76th stop for us and we stayed 6 nights. The picture says it all as you are surrounded by majestic beauty. Just minutes to the east gate of Glacier National Park and a short 20 minute drive to Many Glaciers. The basic site we were in was a decent gravel site which was basically level pulling into it. The office and grounds staff were friendly and the store was stocked with some food and camping/hiking supplies and souvenirs – ice cream was very good. The showers were rustic... Read More

The office and grounds staff were friendly and the store was stocked with some food and camping/hiking supplies and souvenirs – ice cream was very good. The showers were rustic but nicely maintained but the bonus was the shower massage head which was good after a hike. The dog park was a good size but needed to be mowed but we are here early in the season and understand some things are a work in progress. Regarding the tribal dispute, the KOA kept us informed with email and mailings and had no issues at all. All in all, a very solid KOA, would rate a 4.3 and definitely stay here again in the future. In terms of connectivity, some of the best campground WiFi we have experienced, even when the park was more full. WiFi 26.1 down/6.4 up T-Mobile no service…again Verizon 14.1 down/9.0 up. Finally, a bonus – saw a wolf and moose on the road to the rv park.

I loved this campground. Considering we were in the middle of nowhere with awesome mountains all around us, the entire experience was good. No wi-fi? I would suggest you go to a big town and camp there. Laundry "expensive"? Perhaps a laundromat in your home town is best for you. Glacier National Park was so close to the campground. And the red bus tours come right to the campground itself and picks you up. I particularly liked the dog run. A good sized fenced in area to the side of the... Read More

A good sized fenced in area to the side of the campsites where I could let my big, active dogs off leash and throw the tennis balls for them! I didn't go to Montana for it's availability of technology. I went for the views the wildlife. I will return there very soon. L&J

Stayed here in July of 2018. The campground does have lovely views of the mountains and the amenities offered were fine. However, we felt that for $80.00 a night the WiFi ought to work, and there should be some TV service. Even after walking up to the office I was unable to use the WiFi. I also feel $2.75 a load for laundry is a bit excessive.
