We were in a pull through to the south of the main building. the sites are staggered therefore in order to hookup our sewer, water and electricity we were facing our neighbors. There was only about 10 - 15 foot between our campers and this was a shared area. for these reasons we would not stay at this park in the future.
Forced to park so that RV doors are directly across from each other so there's no privacy, 30 amp, no sewer. Charge $7.50 per dump even if you have to use a portable dump container that contains a fraction of your total waste system. (We had to pay for two dumps and did NOT empty our tanks.) We could NOT move our coach due to outside set ups that prevented us from easy unhooks to the dumpster. Rude, abrasive, insensitive manager. Leaving 4 days early-- will never return and will send notices... Read More

More than annoyed.

I booked this stay because of the Good Sam numbers. The 9.5/10 is very misleading. The park is more of a permanent summer get-away for southern Arizona's heat then an RV park. They offer very few RV sites for travelers. The shade was great, the staff friendly and helpful but that is where the high number ratings stop. I WOULD NOT return. When we arrived in early May the RV site where we were suppose to occupy had someone still in it, we were told we could move to another site (full hook-ups)....... Read More

If you open in May you'd think the sewers would have been cleaned out. We were suppose to have been given a discount due to the inconvenience of no sewer. I pre-paid for a full hook-up. We were charged full-hook up price for 1 night. The 2nd night we were charged their normal rate for elec/water hook-ups. Some discount! Find another park if you are traveling through the area.

Claim to have 370 spaces, but this is an extended stay that sells the camping spots to the retirement people who want to get out of the heat of Phoenix. They have about 20 spots that they leave open for travelers. Spaces are too close together. They set them up where your front door faces the other persons front door. Restroom, swimming pool, hot tub and laundry are very nice. When the weekend comes it is packed with the locals comming in to ride their ATV's. Gets very noisy. Lots of trees... Read More

Lots of trees and all camp spots are shaded. The national forest connects to the RV park. To bad they don't rent ATV's. Golf course is across the freeway. I will still tay there anytime we are traveling through. At 6000 ft above sea level it stays cool at night
