This campground met our needs perfectly. The restrooms were spotless, spacious, and modern. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. This was our first visit to Santa Fe and the location was good for us. It was out of the city in a beautiful area and was accessible to the freeway so getting around was not a problem. The park had a bunch of metal artwork and other interesting things. I would recommend it.
We've stayed here twice, once last year and again in May of 2022. Park is ok...in industrial area next to truck trailer lot and almost under I10 freeway overpass. Mostly gravel sites but we had plenty of room in our pull thru and site was mostly level. Seemed to be a lot of permanent residents in back of campground but no issue. Nothing special about park...good for passing thru overnight stay... Young lady at check in had trouble getting my credit card to work, declined twice. I eventually... Read More

Called card company....Chase...they indicated my card is fine, business just tried swiping when they should have inserted into chip reader. No biggie, maybe lesson for staff for future.

OVERNITE STAY WHILE TRAVELING. NOTHING SPECIAL ABOUT FACILITY. BEST PART WAS AN EMPLOYEE WHO HELPED US WITH OUR DOLLY TRAILER.
The place is not much more than a slightly glorified mining camp. There seems to be quite a number of permanent residents which is fine. But there seemed to be no requirements on keeping their sites clean - junk piled up on sites, etc. Short term/overnight sights were terribly small. I measured six feet between our slide and the slide of the RV in the site next to us. Sites are dirt (not gravel but dirt). I can imagine what a muddy mess it must be when it rains. There's a junk yard behind the chain-link... Read More

There's a junk yard behind the chain-link fence at the back of the park with no effort to screen it. The park advertises as "big rig friendly," but there was a turn I could barely make and I'm not a novice driver. We couldn't wait to hit-the-road the next morning. The pluses: office staff was friendly and the place is well-lighted.

How can an industrial area be called a "quiet country setting" in the Good Sam description of this place? Has a Good Sam representative seen this place recently? Mission RV Park is almost directly under the freeway, has barbed wire on the fences, and is beside a truck trailer yard. The RV park has a nice pool and laundry area, but the park itself is old, tired, and neglected. The young lady at the front desk with the baby was very helpful and friendly and tried to make our stay pleasant. The... Read More

If you are looking for an overnight stay near I 10, this may be a good choice for you. But, presently there is construction that will complicate your exit off of I 10. I 10 is especially bad in this area. The park does not have much appeal as it is located in an industrial area. Shopping will involve a car ride, so I would stock up before you get there. The onsite store is stocked with various snacks. The pull in sites are difficult to enter, even with a small trailer as evidenced by the... Read More

The pads are dusty dirt and your trailer will feel that every time you walk in or out. They do have a nice dog park that is relatively clean, but there are numerous cats that roam the property especially at night. They do stay open late and the office staff is efficient and pleasant. Laundry and restrooms are old and not very clean. The park is old with very few upgrades or maintenance. But, it would be fine for a night or two.

We stayed here one night the first part of May. Google maps led us to the wrong driveway to begin with. LOL. I guess I didn't have high expectations since I liked the place better than I thought I would. We could see the freeways above the neighborhood. However, we really didn't hear any noise as we expected. The space was dirt, but fine for one night. The bathrooms and showers were extremely clean. Didn't take a shower there so can't rate the water pressure part. The lady who checked us... Read More

Stayed here for 1 night in May, we were planning to stay 2 or 3 , but the grounds were so bad we just stayed 1. We were traveling in 2 RV's and did get sites next to each other. But boy... it was just a big gravel lot nothing really marked and really just not a very good area. Not really sure how this place has such a high rating with Good Sam. We would rather just stop at a roadside rest for 1 night.
Good sized pull-through site, very level. Park was very clean and fairly easy to access. A little bit of highway noise, but not terrible!
Positives: Roads and spaces were acceptable for our 40' with tow. Price was low with PPA. There are two adjoining dog runs. Water pressure was good. Negatives: For us, there was a very big one . the cable on our site and the two adjoining ones (83, 85, & 87) was the worst we've ever had in any park listing cable as an amenity. They claim to have 25 channels, and I suspect they do on some sites, but our end of the park was pitiful. We gave up and stopped even trying to find something to watch when... Read More

They claim to have 25 channels, and I suspect they do on some sites, but our end of the park was pitiful. We gave up and stopped even trying to find something to watch when we discovered the OTA channels had a bunch of very clear channels. What we really wanted to watch, CNN or Fox, wouldn't even come in fussy. We just got a blank screen. When I called the office, they said try an adjacent site. I did with the same miserable results. When I called back, I was told the maintenance man was already gone and there were no complaints from any of the other sites that had checked in. Three sites with messed up cable should have caused concern, but I got the feeling I was given the standard response to their standard complaint from our end of the park. Poor cable was mentioned a number of times in the reviews. I think their cable problem was caused by "bootlegging" cable to distance sites, like ours, with a resulting signal drop. I think they need boosters to get the needed signal to the distant sites. That would explain why some reviews said good cable and some said horrible cable, i.e. sites near the signal source gets good cable and those at the ends of the runs get horrible cable.
Other negatives would be the large number of permanents and the general lack of care around those sites. There was way too much dog poop on the ground for the area to be receiving any regular maintenance. They do not allow dogs in the front half of the park, where I also suspect the good cable hides.

They advertise Cable TV but when you check in they tell you they are having trouble with it. The part of the park with trees seems to be where the people are living. Looked like the over night people get the gravel parking lot in the back along the Barbed Wire Fence. Which is located just under the Freeway Roads above you. You are up against a Truck Trailer yard and listen to the beep beep back up noise all night. They do have a guard at night but I did NOT feel safe here at all. I did not use the... Read More

I did not use the bathrooms because the walk would be too far from the RV and I did not feel safe there. They do give you a car pass . You show it to the guard to get back in at night.

We stayed here for several weeks in our 5th wheel. The staff was very friendly and the pool/spa were a huge plus. The playground was not very nice; it is basically just a swing set and small jungle gym, so you are better off finding a local park to take your kids to. There is a dog run, which was very nice. The spots are very narrow; they try to use every other spot to give you some extra room, but that is not guaranteed (especially if it gets busy). There is a security guard at night, so it felt... This is a bit dicey to get to - our RV is 34 ft - and it seemed huge with the narrow turns, etc. The pool and laundry room are clean enough - but "heavily chlorinated". The site was level. The dog park was close by - and that was good. There is a bit of highway noise-but not too bad. This is the second time here - because we need a spot close and easy to I-10 and this is about the best option. No shade and the picnic table was unusable. The Staff was friendly and helpful. Good for the price.... Read More

Not sure how Good Sam rated this park so high. The facilities were clean, but really run down. The sites were nothing more than dirt with hookups. Not appealing at all.
We stayed one night on our way through Texas and for a quick rest stop it was adequate. Park is located in an industrial area with truck and rail yard next door. Gravel sites made for dusty conditions. Utility hookups were not in good shape but functional. Cable only got Spanish speaking stations. Restrooms were not in good shape. Doors and windows wouldn't close, no a/c, and not clean. Didn't feel safe in the park at night going to dog park (which was ok). Won't stay there again.
Very convenient for folks looking for a one-night stay on I-10. VERY NARROW pull-through sites: don't expect to set-up your lawn chairs and enjoy the fresh air. An urban park close to I-10 and its noise. But if El Paso fits your travel schedule this park will work very nicely. They have a pool, Wi-Fi and cable TV. I will stay here again if El Paso fits my cross country schedule. They have larger sites, but not pull troughs.
The location of this RV park is convenient to I-10 near El Paso but it is in an industrial area, although shopping is available 2 or 3 miles away. The park itself has asphalt driveways with dirt everywhere else. In fact, the dirt also covers quite a bit of the driveways. There are full hookups on long pull thru sites and free WiFi which worked well for us. The bathrooms are reasonably clean. There is a laundry but we didn't use it. Pretty basic but serviceable. We paid $37.75 per night with... Read More

One of the worst RV Parks ever. It's in the middle of an industrial area and backs up to An Interstate highway interchange. The pull through site was a gravel lot with an old picnic table with the the sewer hookup under the table.
I read all the reviews, and was a little hesitant to stay here, but only needed one night. We found the place to be pleasant, level, a bit dusty, good amenities. Cable TV worked well, 50 amp service, water spigot leaked, but we tightened it with a plier, no more leaking. We are self contained so didn't need laundry or bathrooms, but overall was glad I booked it for the night, and would stay here again.
Very strange way of getting off freeway and to the park.
Good over night - Because it was the 1st no one was in the office so be paid through the drop box, No internet, could not get it to work even after they security gave us the password which he wasn't even sure of.. We were unable to find a way to get into the pool and hot tub area... NO ONE was around to help even though they say there in security all night, just seen him that once... One site by the dog area was covered in beer cans after a new years eve party I am sure, but just not a good impression... Read More

Very hard to find, parked on dirt, sewer connection terrible had to put something on top of hose to keep it in pipe, freeway real close lots of noise, water line hookup leaked.
The sites were OK. They say they provide WIFI, THAT is not true! If you are in site D15 there is no WIFI. They say come to the office...what...I paid to have WIFI at my site. We will not stay here again.
Basic for 1 night stop over
