Beautiful setting, but as stated in another review, there's no cell service. Our Garmin RV GPS attempted to take us through a private road through a ranch of the same name, so make sure you use their physical address on Doty Rd to avoid having to make a u-turn. Upon arrival, you feel like you're driving into a ranch with pastures of cows and goats on both sides of the road. Upon arrival, you feel like you're driving into a ranch with pastures of cows and goats on both sides of the road. There had been recent rains, and the small pond had overflowed into the low spot in the road - not a problem, and frankly it added to the ambiance. The staff was warm and friendly, and they had a small camp store. The roads are gravel, and sites are mostly level, but dirt. Picnic tables, fire rings and full hookups for our site. We were at the far end of the park, and the wifi signal was weak and unstable. We were able to walk over to a covered picnic area/pavilion to connect. I suspect sites closer to the front and middle of the park had better reception.
The bathroom was functional, but old and in need of repair. For example, in one of the men's rooms, the faucet was only connected to the cold water. But if the handle was between hot and cold, the cold water came out from the hot-water side underneath the sink.

Great Spot We've driven by here dozens of times over the years, but this trip we made a point of staying for a night. This is a really nice little RV park. A short drive off the highway. Nestled in the trees. Right off Hat Creek. It's neat, clean, and quiet. It's also by the Hat Creek Radio Observatory, which means no cell service, but, they make up for it with strong, fast wi-fi in the park. Also, if you use satellite tv, the big trees mean you have to work a bit to find all your satellites.... Read More

We will stay here again.

Nice family safe campground. Sites were a little small but level and clean. Extra charge for pond fishing not included in camp price. ATV friendly with bike, walk & atv trails. Close to activities like paragliding, subway caves, Burney Falls. & Lassen National Park. Bring long water hose and electric cord if stay in site 94. Electric & water are in front sewer in back. I would stay here again because grandkids were safe and campers were watchful for young bike riders.
