This campground is not for the vacationing traveler. It is full of day laborers who work in the area and are not courteous to other campers. It is extremely noisy from the day laborers who live there and the car wash that is located at its entrance. The campground facility is very outdated and in poor maintenance with fences falling down all over, water hookups in poor condition, and sewer inlets that are unprotected by caps. This RV park has gone downhill significantly since I stayed here 4 years ago.! NO grass! Each site is surrounded by dirt - soft, roto-tilled dirt! The office was unmanned with a sign that directed me to the gas station nearby to check-in where I encountered a man who took a very long time to find my reservation and only had about 2 words to say to me the whole time. Forget about any kind of friendly welcome! It was 96 degrees when we arrived and apparently the A/C did not work in the laundromat... Read More

It was 96 degrees when we arrived and apparently the A/C did not work in the laundromat as the door was propped open with a portable fan running.
I won't return!

The spots are close together and there is very little grass. We arrived during their listed office hours and the office was dark and locked. I called several times to check in, as the signage on the property states you must do so before heading to your site, and it just rang and rang there wasn't even a voicemail. Our spot was a pull in, but it was just a concrete pad surrounded by dirt and some weeds. Both the men's and women's showers were dirty and needed a thorough deep clean. There is also... Read More

The location is close to Canyonlands and Arches National Parks and there is a small dog park. There is also a laundry facility, which is convenient for those that need it. It's not a terrible stay, but we wish we had known what we were getting when we made the reservation.

We stayed at Shady Acres early this summer and had a great time exploring the area. Great location to stay at and explore Moab and stay away from the crowds. Dog park is nice and big with separate areas for small & large dogs. Owners are very nice and accommodating .
Friendly staff, clean restrooms and showers. All hookups in good condition. Easy pull through lots.
So, I am not into dirt when stationary for any length of time. This park is nothing but dirt. I never did check out the bathrooms but kept watching other guests walking in & out with bare feet - like I said, all dirt. The location is handy for getting out and exploring the area. Noise level is typical for being off a major road - kind of get use to it. Pet friendly it is however, it's all dirt which means it all comes in the coach with your pet. I believe this park is mostly "overnighters".... Read More

One of the Cleanest facilities we have stayed in. Awesome bathrooms and showers (we had a big group and it was nice to have extra showers and bathrooms. Plenty of space to get the travel trailer in and out. Great location, close to so many state and national parks. Friendly and down to business staff. Laundromat is amazing. We will be back and I would recommend to anyone.
Campsites were crammed together and campers were parked anyplace they could be put, designated camp site or not. When we arrived at our site, the grill had been knocked over and broken at the base (thank goodness we were not planning on using it) and the electric box was rusted at the bottom and falling over. We let the office know and their maintenance men came by and hauled away the grill and "fixed" the electric box by propping it up with four bricks. The entire campground is either dead dry... The entire campground is either dead dry grass patches or sand, mostly sand. The camper, our truck, and ourselves have been dirty since arriving. The one positive about this campground is that the shower/restroom was clean.

This was our second stay. The park is entirely gravel, with tress at each site that provide some shade. The spots are fairly close together, but not so bad that we felt cramped. We did not use the restrooms. The laundry is actually a public laundromat, so it was not as nice as the private ones we have used. It is next to the golf course and the state park, so you can at least see lush green grass. The wifi was adequate for e-mail and browsing.
Not much room between spots. Grass was sparse looked like it needed more water. It needs to be sprayed for bugs and wasps. Wasps living in the electric panels open it out they fly and stay around as you try to hook up everything.
Stayed at this RV park while visiting the surrounding National Parks. RV Park folks were very nice and we were given a nice RV site with trees and close to the showers/restroom and golf course. Restrooms were really clean and private. The RV site was easy hookup. There is a store and gas station on site which made it super easy to fuel up and get snacks for the day. Great restaurants close by. Laundry building could use an upgrade. One Con that stands out is there is railroad tracks nearby... Read More

If the train noise does not bother you, this RV park is a good choice.

Their web site reservation system requires you to submit a request and wait for a response "within 48 hrs". If the response is a confirmation of your reservation request, that doesn't mean anything. I got an e-mail confirmation for my reservation request and when I arrived, the woman at the front desk rather rudely told me that the confirmation e-mail didn't matter, they were full because of the watermelon festival -- like I give a crap about their festival. We booked this campsite in February 2019 and when we arrived they had "lost" our booking. The lady in the office made no apology for this, just said " oh, you booked in February, that was a while ago. Well luckily I do have 2 free spots" - we were travelling with friends. These 2 spots were parallel to one of the roads through the site so we were unable to put out our awning, or even sit in front of our trailer. We managed to get our trailer onto the concrete pad because there was no one in the space in front of us but when we came to leave we only got out because the guy in front of us was kind enough to hook up (he was leaving later that day) and pull forward.

Clean park, but close. They seem to use every available space to jam in more campers. Not terribly dog friendly although there is a fenced space for them. Train/road noise and mosquitoes are a problem.
Check in was smooth and very friendly. We did not use the restroom so I can not comment on the condition. What I can say is that this place is perfect for a quick overnight stop. There are only a handful of sites that are cement pads, and if you have a big rig you will not fit in them which is somewhat disappointing as it states the sites are paved/cement pads. The campground is clean overall, and located right off the highway. If traveling with pets that like grassy areas the dog park does... Read More

Convenient and well kept park right off the freeway. Office manager met us at the office as we got in after hours. Very friendly person, offering discounts to services in the area. Space was on gravel so we had to level our trailer a bit. Electrical and Water were a little awkward to get to for our size of trailer, but it worked fine. Wifi was okay.
Great place to camp. Very nice space and people at desk were willing to make arrangements for us even though we were running late. Will definitely stay there again!!!
The campsites are ok, wide enough with enough space for tow vehicle parking. I use an AC voltage monitor for obvious reasons; when I got set up the voltage was at 110-112 - marginal but ok to start. Turned on AC as did the majority of the park and voltage dropped to 102-103. Turned everything off, switched the fridge over to gas, all lights off and voltage returned to 110. AC back on and the voltage was at 106-107. Not acceptable, BEWARE of power fluctuations - could really cause serious issues... Read More

Fantastic folks. Very helpful in giving information on the local sights. We did not think there were so many great places to see. The park was well kept and the laundry was up to date and a pleasure to use.
Nice park friendly greeting. They have an off leash dog area, a big plus for us. No cable though. Sites are fairly level and the park while older seems to be in good shape. We were well off the main road so it was very quiet.
I suppose it could be worse, but not by much. I'm surprised Good Sam would even have their name associated with this place. The office lady was nice enough and gave us discount coupons to local restaurants and there is an RV wash right next door but oh my, what a dusty, dirty place! Our site was not easily marked. Thank goodness it was still light. We would never have found the right spot in the dark. Lots of weeds, dirt, stickers, etc. The lights at each spot didn't work so by nightfall it was... Read More

Lots of weeds, dirt, stickers, etc. The lights at each spot didn't work so by nightfall it was pitch dark.
Oh, and don't forget the millions of mosquitoes. I only sat outside for a few minutes before they made themselves at home.
We were lucky and had full hook-up but NO WI-FI. It's 2016 folks - really?
Nope, I can't recommend this place. It needs a face lift, some asphalt, grass, light bulbs, etc. I'd rather stay in a Walmart parking lot and dry camp.

We called and made reservations. There were 2 pull behind trailers ours and our friends the Days. When we arrived it was getting dark and we had to go to the gas station to register. So back to the station we went so he gave us two more numbers which were way on the other side and we had to walk with flash lights to find. The office was not even open in the morning when we left at 9:30 am This park is way over rated and we have been staying at Good Sams Parks for years. Also we were supposed to have a cement parking pad did not get that yet there were several empty. Would not recommend this park.

What a dump. Do not believe the pics. This place is a dump and I wish that I would have kept driving. They haven't put a single drop of water on their "grassy" areas in years.
dusty, and unappealing park, sewer not available at some sites, best spots are way in the back where the big rigs go. trailer was a dusty mess every time dogs were walked, also had stickers in the sparse grass there. Not a pleasant experience. Better to stay at the State Park but no sewer there.
A bit pricey for the area but a nicely laid out park. A word of warning however. There were goat head thorns in the immediate area of the water, sewer and electric hookup which attached themselves to our shoe soles. This is my first encounter with this weed and I hope my last. These things are easily carried into your RV and are very painful if stepped on with bare feet. I saw no sign of attempts to eradicate this weed while we were there. It appeared to be growing unabated in many RV sites near... Read More
