This place was convenient enough, and certainly one of the nicest in the area, but for the price ($46) I was underwhelmed. It is very tidy, but MAN are there a LOT of RV's there! Loads and Loads of pre-fab, i dunno... tiny houses? Modulars? I don't know what to call them but snow-bird houses. Rows and Rows and Rows of them. It was kinda oppressive. They had 3 nice dog runs, that's a plus. And a Pool & jacuzzi, although I didn't use them cuz they were SO far from where I was, er... stashed? Strange... Read More

Nothing bad, really, just not comfortable. Seemed like the residents all knew each other and were super friendly. Lots of Canadians, who were delightful, but just the sheer magnitude of this place made it feel like an RV Sale lot. Hard to walk my dog cuz he kept wanting to pee on everyone's ceramic bunnies, and there was simply nowhere else, as the dog runs were a good two blocks away. Unless I carried him over there, some bunnies were bound to get a bath. Sorry, everyone. Glad it rained the day I left.

We spent 6 weeks at the Arizonian and had a wonderful time. The facility is clean and well maintained. People are very friendly and helpful yet respect privacy. This is not a 'fancy' campground though and landscaping is minimal - which didn't bother us at all as everything else was perfect. We didn't use their restrooms, but if they are like the rest of the facilities, I'm sure they're spotless. Spaces are a very good size - we have a Class A, 34' with a large slide-out and had plenty of room,... Read More

After looking at other campgrounds in the Gold Canyon area we booked again for next year.
