This was a great spot to stay for the Sugar bowl. The shuttle worked well. The sight was small but easy to get in and out. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We would stay again if wanting to play in New Orleans. Thanks for a nice weekend.
Felt like we were staying with family. Super friendly and accommodating park owners. We would stay here again for sure. Nice little patio next to the very clean swimming pool. I believe every site had some grassy area. Close to all of the NOLA attractions.
The Owner was very nice to us and very helpful. first thing notice while in the office there is a big sign saying NO REFUNDS. then we realized why the have a big sign saying no refund it's in a high crime Area she told us to make sure our vehicles are locked because sometimes they jump the fence to see if cars are locked. the Neighbors said the night before his alarm on car went off.the place does have a fence that you need a code to get in gate. it is a high Gangster area most of the night you... This morning they had another shooting at 4am and another at 5:30 am the spots are very small cannot open the awning because of small trees plus the awning if we could open would almost touch the neighbors camper. I didn't use bathroom but wife did she said she would only rate it a 2.i wouldn't recommend anybody to stay because of their safety due to the area. you can Google it crime in East New Orleans come to find out the Cops don't hang around there because of the shootings They have Police Cameras on every corner. They only come in the area to investigate the crime seen. We will never be back there again.

We stayed 6/23-6/28/19. We loved it. The owners are very knowledgable about the area and have excellent suggestions on places to see and visit. Everyone at the RV park were friendly and helpful. The laundry room had excellent machines. The pool was well maintained as was the hot tub. We had our dog with us and she was treated with kindness also. I loved sitting out at night and visiting with people. This park does have small spaces yet large enough to fit coaches, so small is relative. I felt very... Read More

I loved sitting out at night and visiting with people. This park does have small spaces yet large enough to fit coaches, so small is relative. I felt very safe there, it is completely fenced in and the main entrance is locked at night (you get a pass code to enter). If I had any complaint it would be that someone parked thier van at the pool every night. The pool was very pretty at night with the lights and sitting area, it was a shame to have the view blocked. This park is a jewel in this big city. It is clean, maintained and safe. I highly recommend Jude Park. You can get anywhere in 10 to 15 minutes and they have a shuttle service also. The price is right and the owners make it feel like home.

We had reservations for 3 nights. We left after the first nights stay knowing that a refund was not available. Very questionable area of the city. Borders very noisy active railroad yard. Our space was so tight I couldn't open the awning. Site had very poor drainage and no picnic table. Laundry facility had unacceptable amount of dirt, mildew and litter. Machines were excessively worn in appearance. Pool was poorly maintained. Restrooms very outdated ie small & no extra place to place... Read More

Very small park with very small sites. Did not use shower or restrooms. Owners husband cares more about the cats than the guests. Not enough room to open the awning. It is close to the downtown area but that is the only good thing I can say.
This is an older park like most old thing it is not bright and shiny, but the staff make it a great place to stay. The sites ,bathrooms and public areas are kept clean and in good repair. The staff treat you like honored guest going out of their way to make your stay great. The shuttle into downtown saved us on parking and headaches. We will return to this rv park in the future.
Good spot to RV in NOLA. If you are there to visit the city yes. If we were just there to hang out then maybe not. The host family was very nice and knowledgeable the shuttle times were limited. We had to Uber a few times but it wasn't horrible. Its not in the best part of town but we felt safe. clean and quite good level sites. a little cramped but still very nice. would recommend
This is a place to go if you want to be close to the city. The shuttle service the owner offers is a major positive. Bathrooms and laundry area is clean. If you have a dog however there are to many cats that belong to the owner and it makes it hard on your animal. Space are very tight we were unable to open awning because of camper next to us so close.
This park does not offer pull-thrus as it has confined space, however what the park's shortcomings of size is more than made up for by its hardworking and friendly staff. The shuttle service into the city is great. We would certainly make this our first choice of a RV park for our next visit to NOLA.
This is not an RV park you visit to enjoy nature. It is a home base for sightseeing in NOLA and it's perfect for that purpose. It actually is better that the others we've seen in the area. The owners are helpful, the park is clean and well-maintained. There is a busy highway at the front and a noisy rail yard at the back so be prepared. The area isn't the best but the park is gated so we never felt unsafe.
Not the prettiest but the folks that run it make it worth it! The young lady went out of her way to help us with our tv. Wifi not the greatest but nice to be unplugged! They know where to go and have a great time. Tight entrance and tight spaces but it was manageable. Ask about the restaurant above Apple barrel bar!!!
The owners are really good people -- friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. The park was a perfect base of operations for our visit to New Orleans, and the shuttle service they offered saved us the expense of a rental car. We felt safe at the site and found the office and restroom/shower facilities clean and convenient. We'd definitely stay here again.
Average RV park. I dont agree with the restroom and facility ratings from others. I felt the facilities were dirty and not up to par with a lot of other RV parks. I have had worse facilities. Did not have any noise issue with the trails near the park. The park is gated for additional safety. You are within 5 minutes of the French Quarter.
First you must understand - this is an inner city campground. The location is not the usual campground. The sites are small, there are city noises. But as an offset the owners are extremely nice and knowledgeable. They offer a shuttle into New Orleans a number of times each day. For a reasonable fee you get dropped off without having to deal with the worries of parking etc. AND you can get picked back up with the same ease. The facility has clean rest rooms, clean laundry facilities. The... Read More

If you are looking for a rural campground - this is not the place for you. But if you want something close to the city without all the bells and whistles - you'll do fine here.

First of all, this is an inner city RV park. It's located between a major road and a rail yard in a not so great part of town. That being said, the park is adequate for your New Orleans stay. The facilities are nice and clean, new bathrooms, laundry room, pool & hot tub. Had good wi-fi reception and internet. The lots are small as to be expected in the city, gravel and grass but clean and level. They offer a shuttle to the French Quarter and are very knowledgeable of the area. The best part of... The best part of the park by far were the owners, very hard working, accommodating, friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone needing a nice "base of operations" while visiting New Orleans.

Their website does not give you an accurate picture of the site. Beware, too, that there is a very active railroad track right behind the site. I didn't feel as welcome here as we usually do with the Good Sam's RV parks. It is convenient to all the attractions in New Orleans, however. I would stay there again just for that reason.
We stayed at this park based on Good Sam rating. It is not correct. The park is small and in a rough neighborhood with very active train tracks directly in back and a loud street in front. Electrical plug worked but was cracked and loose. Sewer connection was an unthreaded 6 inch pvc pipe coming out of the ground at a 45 degree angle. Cable TV was not good but we picked up some channels with our antenna. Wifi did not work at all except for maybe a couple hours when it was slow and intermittent.... Read More

There are a couple other rv parks nearby that looked similar. Although it is about 10 minutes from the French Quarter, we will drive a bit farther next time to stay at a nicer place.

This is a small park located about 10 minutes northeast of the French Quarter. The site pads and driveways are gravel with a small strip of grass separating the sites. All sites are back-in and the owner will guide you into your site. Hook ups are good, restrooms and showers are clean and free WiFi worked well for us. There is also a pool/hot tub, an on-site laundry and the owners will give you lots of visitor information for your visit to NOLA. We were there over Easter weekend and the owners... Read More

We were there over Easter weekend and the owners had a huge crawfish boil on Sunday. It was fantastic with a terrific assortment of items in the boil: potatoes, onion, garlic, sausage, cauliflower, etc. It was delicious and very generous for the owners to invite the park residents to join them.

There is a pool - not heated and a hot tub, but the hot tub was down after 2 days being there in our week long stay... We did utilize the shuttle that took you into the Bourbon St. area...They had free Oranges off the tree available for to guest. The Electric went out 3 days in a row and they did not let the campers know we had to go to them, which was also the source of the hot tub issue as they did not reset it after every outage we later found out, just a lack of paying attention to details...... We selected this RV Park because of the Good Sam ratings - BIG mistake. This is a very sparse park; poor WIFI; crammed unpaved parking sites; fairly primitive bathrooms; and no feel for New Orleans whats-so-ever. Would never stay again.
Pulled up based on Good Sam ratings and reviews but upon arrival realized the ratings and reviews were very wrong. This is a dump. Absolutely terrible.
We selected this park because it was close to French Quarter...maybe 10 minute without traffic delays. It is a very sparse park, dumpster clear at back end of the park...no turn around. Bathroom codes require safecracker skills. Toilet seat came adrift at inopportune time. We had 2 night reservations...mgmt. gave away our 2nd night. Noisy location on major street...get far back spot. Wi-Fi was iffy might depend on space location. Staff was helpful...gave clear instructionson where to park in... Read More

Unattended lot on N Peters takes oversize vehicles if you pay for each space occupied. $12/space for 10 hrs. Less for shorter. Lot right at end of FQ..EZ on I-10. Might be too tight for class A over 28'.

Great people own this park - very friendly, helpful and have lived in the area all their lives. They can book tours and make recommendations for things in the area you might be interested in seeing. Very easy to get on and off I-10 and located only 10 minutes from the French Quarter. Walmart just put in a new store a couple of minutes from the park on US-90. Plenty of room next door at the union hall to walk the dog and great gas prices - just paid $2.71 for reg.
