Let me start by saying these were all the nicest people working there. The front desk person was very nice. the lady who came out to check on a water problem, (that was my fault) was great. Even the guy who was picking up trash stopped and spoke to me! But I think this place looks bad because of all of the seasonal campers who have trashed their sites. They have allowed people to just pile up stuff around their campers. The camp could also use some landscaping and at least a good mowing.... Read More

The price was very inexpensive and for a 1 night stop it was fine, But I would not want to stay there for any length of time.

Easy in and out. Didn't use any of the facilities so can't rate or comment on them. Poor drainage makes this a problem when rain is in the forecast. Stepped out of camper into 4 inches of water after overnight rain. Most overnight sites were the same condition. Many full time residents.
This park is a not appealing at all. The gravel sites are uneven and overgrown with grass as was the entire facility. We didn't use the bathrooms so I can't comment on those. It appears that most of the occupants are full time residents judging from the amount of clutter around most of the trailers onsite. If all you're doing is staying one night during your travels I suppose this place serves a purpose, but I would not recommend it for any other reason.
This is a RV park that has probably seen better days. Most of the occupants seem to be long term residents. We reserved a “Deluxe” site that has a concrete pad. Check in was smooth as it was done via the internet and e-mail. When we got to the park the person in our office pointed out our site but did not give any directions. We were told we were due a $8.00 refund, but the person was unable to process it. I was unable to make a turn into the site without unhooking thus defeating the purpose... Read More

We were told we were due a $8.00 refund, but the person was unable to process it. I was unable to make a turn into the site without unhooking thus defeating the purpose of a pull through. I later figured out if I had used the loop behind the site, I would have had a straight shot to parking. Some directions/advice would have been nice. The pads for the “ Deluxe” sites are about 10 feet apart and reasonably level, with the power pole, sewer and water being between the sites. Other sites in the park appear to be more spacious. There was a puddle of water around the power pole making hookup a little scary. By the time we left, the area was a mud patch and the water was gone. In retrospect, I wish I had reserved a regular site since these sites did not appear to have water issues. To be fair, it had been raining for several days, but still, drainage could have been better. A little gravel would go a long way. The park suffers from deferred maintenance. The interior roads are not smooth. Paint is peeling off the laundry room. The laundry room/bath house was reasonably clean. The park is right next to Highway 65 so there is some road noise in the park, but it is not too bad. There is a small dog park with a water puddle at the entrance. There we no dog waste bags in the holder, but a pan and a rake were provided. The park advertises Wi-Fi. That is a joke. On the rare occasion when I could connect the system was so slow to be unusable for even e-mail. I did not see any repeaters in the park so I image that no one is getting park Wi-Fi. Verizon is three bars. We stayed in a 40’ motor home.

We ha.ve only stayed at this park one time in the past 6 years. Unfortunately, this time was NO different. The PARK is loaded with Run down full timer RV's, which is their Bread and Butter I'm sure. There are NO good RV Parks in the area and this is a Last Resort (so to speak) We parked on what was called a DELUXE Site, with Concrete Pad. $40! Not even close to worth it, since there were 3 other Sardine Can sites right next to us. The Sewer connection was broken, so NO dumping available.... Read More

The Sewer connection was broken, so NO dumping available.
There are very few eateries in the area. But, you can always drive to Greenville, MS for other restaurants.
Would we stay here again? Probably NOT and Don't recommend it to anyone else either.
How this park RATES a 9 is beyond me!

Fishing camp- fairly nice but wifi was bad
Somewhat run down. But we arrived after strong storms, but water was puddling everywhere. Appears there is minimal maintenance and a lot of full time trailers, some in disrepair. At the $40+ rate, for basic unkept concrete pads, it was overpriced and the rating on good Sam, (8 and 9) very misleading. Along the highway and what appears to be a rundown property all around it. The gals in the office were nice.
This is my first bad review of a commercial RV park, but I had to. Might be OK for an overnight on a road trip, but not for more than one night. They advertise Cable TV and WIFI. No cable, and WIFI doesn't work well enough to send an email. Water tastes really bad even after 2 stage filtration, and even looked brown at one point. Highway noise is horrendous. Interior roads and gravel RV spaces not well maintained. Makes me want to second guess my Good Sam membership when I look at the ratings on... Read More

I am sorry that our facility did not meet your expectation. You did visit us during one of the rainiest seasons on record for south AR. Our park is made up of gravel roads and parking sites. Once it finally dried up enough, we brought in 50 loads of gravel to improve the roads and the sites. Our advertising comes out almost a year after we submit it, so the information of having cable was outdated. We had to remove it from the park due to not being able to keep it serviced. Our advertising comes out almost a year after we submit it, so the information of having cable was outdated. We had to remove it from the park due to not being able to keep it serviced. Being so rural, AT&T and other companies do not provide us with the same quality of amenities that more populated areas are afforded. Unfortunately, this adversely affects the quality of the FREE wi-fi that we offer our guests. Everyone in Lake Village wishes for better internet service!!
I also wish you had enjoyed the lake more. It is the largest natural oxbow lake in North America. It has some great fishing! Most patrons enjoy our private covered dock and easy access to the boat ramp.

Not as appears on website. Gravel and muddy roads and sites. No cable but weren't told at check in. Had to call office. Noisy road traffic. There is a lake but you have to cross a busy highway to get there. Not worth the money.
This is our second time staying here. Prior stay was February 2017. It is a large park with close to 100 sites plus cabins to rent. Easy access into park and roads in park are good. Check in was fast and friendly. As the name suggests it is in a pecan grove and you can purchase them in the gift shop. There are a number of permanent residents, most are kept up. The overnight spots are all gravel pull-throughs with full hookups. Park is clean. Sites are about average width. There is laundry and a... Read More

Small playground and across the road is a boat ramp and fishing deck. Lots of places to walk the dog and a small fenced in dog run. There are trashcans throughout the park and are checked every day. We were in Site 13, level, 50 amp electric and no issues with hook ups. It was just long enough for our 37-foot Class A and tow-dolly, we had to park our car in an empty site. WiFi was good and our Verizon signal was okay. There is road noise from Hwy 65/82, but it quiets down at night. We stayed March 11-14, 2018. We paid $32.00 with our Good Sam Discount. You are about 15 minutes from Greenville, MS.

DON"T STAY HERE IF YOU SEEK PEACE AND QUIET! At a few minutes of 8 AM , a "worker" started mowing around my unit with a 30+ year old mower that had to register 100 decibels. Of course that ended my peaceful breakfast as my dogs went bananas. The lady in the office was extremely nice but the park is very run down and on a busy and loud highway. I wouldn't have said anything except for the mower who appeared to go out of his way to disturb paying customers.
We stopped at this location because it was the only Good Sams Park on our route and it was time to stop for the night. Unfortunately, it is just an OK park. Nothing spectacular. Needs allot of work and maintenance, like new gravel on the sites. The sites a reasonably long and are separated by Landscape Timbers. Full hookup sites, appeared to have new power boxes, so that was a plus. There are a number of Full Timers living here in run down trailers and that detracts from the appearance of... Read More

We stayed for one night and probably won't stay here again! There are several restaurants close by, if you didn't bring your own food. It is right on the lake, so this time of year the mosquitos will eat you alive, so bring bug spray!
Good Sams rates this park at 9. I don't know where that comes from, but I would rate it a 7.5, maybe less.
It was a one night and one time stay for us.

easy in and out, a few full time sites but they weren't as "ghetto" as some I've seen. Good place to stop when passing through. Would stay here again. Paid $30.81 for overnight stay.
I just stayed here for three nights. The sites are level, but haven't seen gravel for 4-5 years. Wifi was very iffy. The showers were clean but very old. There are many seasonal and permanent residents here. I arrived after rain, so the entire park was a sea of mud that didn't dry out until day 3. Some one mentioned road noise, but I didn't notice it. I wouldn't go out of my way to stay here again, unless it was for an overnighter. There isn't much to do unless you are into fishing.
Our family stayed overnight because we were on our way to Eureka Springs. They have a great selection of pull-thru sites. The facilities are fine, but out dated. The camp is located across from the lake. It's off the highway, so you may hear traffic. Looks like allot of lake traffic stays there. I would recommend.
