We checked in after hours, so nobody was in the office. The roads to the sites are dirt with some big pot holes which means there was a lot of mud due to recent rains. There was a "small pond" right in front of the hookups. They had put a wooden pallet there to stand on while hooking up so you didn't have to stand in 6 inches or more of water, but the sewer hookup was down in the water, so we just didn't fool with that for one night. We left first thing the next morning and will not be back!!... Read More

The sitting is good, the pull thru great. The lack of rock on the pad sites and stepping off into the mud is disappointing. The area must have gotten lots of rain, and low RV site caused some long term RV's to build a platform of pallets. They have one dead (titanic) RV sinking into the earth. Maintenance could be improved at this park, it could be awesomely beautiful. the lots near the pond are flooded. On a summer day those would be the place to be. The folks /staff are friendly. Did not see showers or bathrooms. No trash cans close/ drop off (no dog /PO bags) Far enough off svc rd, not to hear traffic. But access to I-20 close. Exit 120 difficult because 2 way 1 lane traffic is busy (W/BND). Gas station close Diesel /gasoline. Hard to pull RV thru in my opinion. (Exit-120). A bigger bolder sign at the road would help make it easer to find, they tell you you have to watch for the turn because you may miss it !

We first stayed here in 2015 and recently returned. I'm not sure they have done anything to the park since 2015 except cut the grass. We arrived after hours and found our reservation in a box near the door (nice service). Our site was large and level but while there was probably gravel on the site at one time, it was mostly grass and dirt. While we usually remove our shoes when entering our RV, when they are covered in grass and dirt we still don't want that in our RV. It is time to add gravel or... Read More

Was okay for a one night stay but may look at RV Parks east and west of Monroe in the future as we pass through.
