This is our first winter away from the snow in Illinois, and we were looking forward to a two month stay in the Florida sunshine. The good points of this park include the neighbors we met around our site, size of our site, presence of a dog park, church services and Bible study group on site. However, the negatives outweigh the positives, and we do not recommend this park. There is a strong sewer smell outside that they cannot remediate. The internet has not worked for a month. The good points of this park include the neighbors we met around our site, size of our site, presence of a dog park, church services and Bible study group on site. However, the negatives outweigh the positives, and we do not recommend this park. There is a strong sewer smell outside that they cannot remediate. The internet has not worked for a month. The pool is very small for the number of people here, and a number of days it was not open due to chemical imbalance (green cloudy water and fungus on the sides.) The only reason we give it 3 stars is because we are newbies to all this, but two months of sewer smell is not acceptable.

People of Happy Days are very friendly, lotsa activities. The park is pet friendly, however many residents complain of pet droppings even when picked up. There is no designated dog walk area only the drives within the park. You don't normally get a choice where your pet stops. The park needs to build a dog park, there is room near the storage area. The exits are very blind, big trees next to the road only a few feet away. The north exits is the worst. A car got hit trying to leave when we were there Read More
