Address on Good Sam & the camps websites will not work in GPS. I-25 reference needs to be deleted and address should be 51 Service Rd E or you will end up north of Cheyenne instead of south. If you want to see Buffalo/Bison up close $10-20, ride a horse, etc. just visit. DO NOT CAMP THERE. Roads have pot holes everywhere. Our view was the highway, train track and apparently storage area where unused campers have been stored for several years. When checking in, a cat jumped up on the counter. I am VERY allergic to cats so got out of there as quickly as I could and did not go back in to shop! Did not eat at their restaurant as reviews were negative.

Pull through with full hook-ups. Friendly staff. Lots of activities. Breakfast in the morning but we did not try it. Sites are close together, but had no problems. Level enough for me. Would stay again.
The campground is bare bones. But the facility has a lot to do especially if you have kids. We were travelling as two adults but enjoyed walking the grounds and seeing everything. The park is relatively easy to get to and to get into and out of. Hookups were good. Great for one or two night stay.
We spent a night here on the way to Idaho. First, let me state that if you have a discount, Good Sam, Escapees, Passport America, that you state that when you check in EVEN IF YOU GAVE THEM THE INFORMATION WHEN YOU MADE THE RESERVATION. If you have kids may be worth the $24-36 charge definitely not worth the $55.68 I got charged. (we are both Good Sam members and Escapees). The roads were once paved but have gone to gravel, uneven with ruts and potholes. The spaces appear level but are not, same... Read More

The spaces appear level but are not, same ruts, etc. VERY CLOSE to each other, side by side - be careful you don't trip over your neighbors' sewer line if you exit your vehicle after dark! I don't think I could use my awning without hitting my neighbor's slide. There is barely enough room for a picnic table (not all sites have one) next to your neighbors sewer. The sites vary in length, ours was barely long enough for our 37' motor home & toad. There are amenities that would be good for families with children, but not for us seniors just traveling through. We won't be back. We didn't use the bathrooms or showers so can't rate them.

Let me start by saying the employees I met were all very friendly! However, the RV spaces themselves are not level, with ruts and holes, both in the RV spaces and on the campground roads themselves. I had to keep moving back and forth to try to find a somewhat level spot, and noticed others doing the same. The spaces are VERY CLOSE to each other, side by side - be careful you don't trip over your neighbors' sewer line if you exit your vehicle after dark! The only reason to stay here is if you have... The only reason to stay here is if you have Passport America, and can save 50%, which is why I chose the park for a one night stay, passing thru.

The campground unkept. Dog poop everywhere. Internal roads were terrible. Camp space were nothing but weeds. Looks like no one loves the park anymore. I would have given it a 0 if it was an option. And all this for $45.00 per night.
Way over priced. Noise from the interstate right next door was terrible. Even worse was the noise from loud partying, including bongo drums, literally all night. Management did nothing. Their only comment the next morning was "It was worse the night before". A miserable experience. This place is on the decline folks. Better to boondock somewhere rather than waste your money here.
This was the only campsite available and I have to say it was pretty good. Staff were friendly and the site was a good size. We had power and water and there was a dump station on our way out. I would recommend this RV Park to anyone travelling thru.
My husband found this one for our granddaughter's birthday. This was special for her. There is a western restaurant you can walk to on the grounds and the food was so good. Loads of animals to see. Two great playgrounds. Was very hot and dusty in July but fun place to see.
This park is no longer kept up, and has become a full time trailer park residence. So bad that my husband does not want me to utilize the laundry facilities. PS. We have stayed in 20 Good Sam Parks to date, and this one is the worst. At this point, I'm considering moving over to KOAs. Thanks so much!!
Wide open camp ground next to very busy highway. Ear plugs recommended to sleep. A number of things to do at the ranch. Including viewing of the Bison Herd. Close to Cheyenne, 10 minutes ride. Was able to park our 26 ft. RV in public parking lot. Took trolley ride around Cheyenne WY, very informative.
The advertising for this campground is misleading... the campground is in need of some repair and keep up.. the Wi-Fi is only available real close to the main building and the girls that were taking care of the store was more into each other than into the customers in the store..
If you don't mind the smell of livestock and hundreds of flies then this is the place for you. Way overpriced in my opinion. Gravel and weeds but not just any weeds - weeds that you have to pull out of your dogs fur every time you take them out for a walk. They won't see me there again.
If you are looking for activities to do without ever leaving the campground then this is the place. They had horseback riding, train rides, feeding the Bison's, w-wheeler riding a restaurant and much much more. We will definitely go back.
This is a working ranch and RV'ers are just another source of funding. You will definitely NOT be a staff priority unless you need to buy something, or purchase a service. Very close to interstate, so very noisy even late at night, so sitting outside under the stars will not be a pleasant experience. Showers were pathetic, not only small, but the water flow was nothing more than a fast drip. Ladies forget about washing your hair. Cleanliness, marginal at best.
For us this was all about location. We were in town for Cheyenne Frontier Days and wanted to be as close as possible. We accomplished that goal. Appeal of 5 is accurate. Staff is friendly and helpful. There are animals, train rides, ATV rentals, horseback riding, nice restaurant, all on location for activities. Perfectly fine as a base of operations for travelling into town, but we didn't find it to be the type of place where we would sit outside and relax by the fire.
