Wow this place is nice. Restrooms are very clean. Been on the road for a month and a half and this is the nicest place so far. Roads are paved but the spaces are gravel. My spot is level and not bad. I had to back in which I am not a fan but did it on the first try. You have to give them $10 for a gate key card which you get back when you leave. Lots of trees for nice shade. Not far from the beach. Grocery store and shopping is close. You can get to Portland without getting on a toll road but they... Read More

I would differently check this campground out if you want to visit Portland or surrounding areas.

We stayed here over the fourth of July weekend. We were with another family as well who they put right next to us. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. The campground was family friendly and clean. The bathrooms were clean as well as the pool area. Showers were good. My kids enjoyed the pool quite a bit. The location to Old Orchard Beach was fantastic. We walked there at least once a day. They also have a shuttle although we never seemed to be able to catch it on time. The biggest negative... The location to Old Orchard Beach was fantastic. We walked there at least once a day. They also have a shuttle although we never seemed to be able to catch it on time. The biggest negative I have and it is not a complete big deal were the fire pits. We are very in to cooking over the campfire and what they had were old washing machine tubs. They were deep and narrow making it tough to do our typical cooking. We plan out all are meals ahead of time so this was definitely a challenge. The only other things that were kind of a bummer was the fact that there were no kids activities. I guess they are not advertised on the website so I should not have been surprised. They also do not have a camping store on site, but for us it was not a big deal. For the most part it was a nice place to camp with friendly people. I would probably come back again or visit their sister campground Powder Horn which has all the activities and bells and whistles for the kids. We had tried there first, but they were booked up at the time.

Not a flashy campground, but one we have been staying at for 7 years now. Restrooms are always clean!!! Sites are good sized...new section sites very big. 1/2 mile to the ocean. Great people in every position from check-in to landscapers to cleaning crew. Our family of seven loves it!!!!!
